Don't forget the little screws in the saddlebags that work their way out all the time. Last time I loctited them.

Roadside Marine in Williston VT. When I did my clutch upgrade I must had either pinched the gasket or didn't scrape it off good and now I have a very small leak. I stopped to get a new gasket and the one they had was broken but he gave me a tube of stuff they use and said try this with the broken gasket and just drop the tube off when I have a chance. He gave me the broken gasket no charge. They are great people there.

Have picked up my RSTD a couple times. Not real easy but I can do it. Last time it was cold and I took some of the layers of clothes I had on and forgot that I hadn't put the kickstand down. Looked around and thank god no one was watching. I tried that technique but there was gravel and it wouldn't work because my feet kept slipping. So I just grabed it and picked it up. I did manage to pull a muscle.

Harley Death "Wobble"
hunter 1500 replied to ronjolly's topic in Royal Star and Royal Star Tour Deluxe Tech Talk
There have been some discussions on this on another forum and all the Harley riders claim it just isn't so. Not sure if it is or not but it is something to think about. -
You got a deal. Bought mine for $100 and hadn't used it yet. Was planning on using it after they did the valve adjustment. They adjusted the carbs for me when they did it so now I still have a brandy new one in the box.

My only complaint with the 880 is it was terrible in the rain. First time I rode in the rain I almost lost it. They wore good and handled alright on dry roads.

Front fairing question
hunter 1500 replied to Rscott's topic in Royal Star and Royal Star Tour Deluxe Tech Talk
My WOC fairing has a Jesen radio and 4 speakers and I can here it at any speed. This is the second bike this fairing has been on in 5 seasons and it is holding up great. If it will withstand the potholes in the roads in Vt it will withstand anywhere.- 16 replies

It's funny that on another board a guy was saying he would rather have a HD because there are so many more dealers in his area. I looked it up and he had 6 HD dealers and 9 Yamaha dealers. He lived in Ohio. Next guy from CA claimed there were many more HD dealers in his area. I looked it up and they both had 6.

I really liked the red one they made in 2011 but they didn't make that color for 2012. Sorry but the Green is a little to flashy for me.

My feelings exactly. I loved riding that bike. If I were to buy a bike tommorow it would be that one in black.

Yup about the only tool I don't have.

Thanks. I will pick up a micrometer and check them. Been wanting to get one anyway.

Just started slipping so I ordered just the kit with the spring from Skydoc. That was what from reading I figured I would need.
-
Been using Shell Rotella T6 for years in my bikes.
-
Thanks just ordered it.
-
Can someone send me the link to place the order to Skydoc. Can't seem to find the place to order it.
-
Thanks guys for all the help. I will order it from Skydoc today.

I've noticed my clutch slipping when I shift down to pass a car and get on to it in 3rd gear it seems to slip a little bit and then kicks in. Is this unusual for a bike with 28k. I have towed a trailer for some of that. I don't really notice any other time.
-
Thanks but I just ordered the one in the link from ebay. I will write a review on it after I get it.

Are they good quality?
