  1. Thanks to everyone that responded. I tried wiggling and jiggling and nothing was working. I tried to look inside the boot and moving it to no avail. So as a last resort I wrapped some towels around the gear that goes into the pumpkin and tried turning it the opposite way and it worked. I was able to get it out with no damage. It's not easy to line that sucker up and get it into the yoke or at least it wasn't for me. I could tell for sure when it went in though. The whole time I was wondering why I ever did it but I wont have to do it again for a while.
  2. I felt like it was in there but your probably right. I just pulled it all apart and the shaft didn't come out with the pumpkin. It seems wedged in there. Don't want to break or bend anything to get it out. Any ideas. Thanks
  3. Just changed the wheel and tire and put it back together like I have 7 or 8 times before except this time I pulled the shaft and differential off to grease the splines and put it back together and when I tested it the wheel locked right up. I'm in the process of taking it all back apart but does anyone know what I might have done wrong.
  4. I used to own an Susuki LC1500 and had it set up with a fairing and hard bags. It was a real sharp bike and I pulled in for gas along with a lot of other riders and there were two guys one on a very new looking Electra Glide Classic and he walked up to me and said that's a nice looking bike, what Harley model is it.
  5. I live about an hour from there. If you like soft serve there is a place in Ferrisburg VT that has the best. It's made with real cream.

  7. Yup I had to do the same thing with the clutch. Easy job.
  8. I have the WOC and the light bar fits fine.
  9. I just put the 130 on my bike end of last fall and havn't ridden it that much but I will not do it again. Like you said they don't make a 150 front in the Com II and I like the one on the back so I tried it. Don't like it in the corners nearly as well.
  10. I've fished Lake Ontario in my 20 ft Penn Yan in 5 and 6 foot waves where went you went down in between the swells all you could see was water. Been blown off there a lot when the waves were larger. Sold the boat 10 years ago and don't fish there anymore.
  11. Yes when the previous company owned them they were high priced but I think they will be closer to the price of a Harley. They will have their own engine not the Victory engine.
  12. Yes and put the hose back on.
  13. Used Emgo for years but have been using the Carquest brand made by Wix. Emgo were rated pretty good and Wix is a good brand.
  14. I've had a America's Best trailer for 3 seasons with no issues. Jason is a nice guy.
  15. Micky D's is Green Mountain Coffee, Newmans Own. I have a Kuereg and drink GMC. I can buy it here at work through our vendor because we have a keureg here. Costs 11.49 for a box of 24 K cups.
  16. I would have two words for them , See Ya...... I have lots of patches from different groups. The Combat Vets do however ask that you not wear club colors on a CVMA ride. Im good with this. I don't belong to any MC's anyway.
  17. I agree.
  18. You can do it. I smoked for 30 year and quit on my 45th birthday almost 15 years ago. No way I would ever start again.
  19. Yup I spend a lot of time on another forum where calling someone a Moron is normal. They have even gone as far as meeting to duke it out at a Waffle House. But anyone that has been there for a while knows to take it all with a grain of salt. Hey it's the internet. This forum is very hospitable.
  20. Karma will reward you. It was a good deed.
  21. I would have said do you want trouble A....... and when he got out I would have whipped out my 380 and put four in his chest and rode off into the sunset. Just kidding. I ride for fun and so I would have done the same as you did.
  22. I think they are cool. There is a dealer down close to Lake George NY in I think its Chestertown. Would love to have one as a second bike.
  23. I have a 1/4 inch drive socket set from Sears and a 6" extention and the set has a 1/4 to 3/8 adapter that I can use with my socket heads I carry. I can pretty much do anything that I would do on the road with these. I also carry a very compact set of jumper cables. I have very seldom ever had to use them with my bike but they have come in handy to help out other bikers. These all fit neatly in the bottom of my saddle bag and take up very little room.
  24. I went down a back road with no traffic and no houses and took it up to 100 and it was fine so that part of the test is done.
