  1. Does anybody have an aftermarket Lightbar ie passing lights.
  2. I used to use Honda spray cleaner but have been using Prowler for about a year. I can get it for our cost at work and it does a better job. It has Carnuba wax in it. http://www.redroseusa.com/
  3. Don't use the Shell Rotella with the T6 on the jug. It is energy coservative.
  4. Sounds like a good deal on a RK.
  5. All I have to say is racers wear leather for a reason.
  6. I would like to add that make sure the flag pole is metal and rugged and the flag is fastened securly. I broke a wooden pole that I thought would be plenty rugged enough. I now have ones made of conduit.
  7. The one I have was for the Suzuki I had. It was the LC1500. To make the fairing work I had to make a couple of straigt pieces for the fairing. I also made some lowers brackets. They didn't come out very well but I have plenty of time to make better ones.
  8. I have Dairyland Ins. A lot of people I know say it is the lowest one out there and they have good coverage.
  9. http://i53.photobucket.com/albums/g51/hunter1500/IMG_0292.jpg http://i53.photobucket.com/albums/g51/hunter1500/IMG_0293.jpg http://i53.photobucket.com/albums/g51/hunter1500/IMG_0294.jpg
  10. It's a wide open custom. They don't make the bracket to fit but if you look all I had to do was fabricate a straight piece. It was on my LC 1500 Suzuki before and the top holes for the windshield fit but the bottom is where you need to make something to work and I also made some brackets to use the lowers from the windshield. I'll post a picture when it is all done. The paint job came out really good.
  11. I was still green from the color of my old bike. It will be the blueish purple in a couple of days. Should look better then.
  12. Nearing the end of my fairing project. Bought the paint from colorite and had the painter do a test and it was perfect so he is shooting the fairing this week and the bracket for it are being touched up at the fab shop. Will post picks when it's all done. Come on spring.
  13. Are the Venture and the RSTD seat the same? Just curious.
  14. I know this has been posted before and I see where some have got them from Venturedad but I wasn't able to find a link for it. I would just as soon give somebody from the forum a shot at it first. Thanks
  15. Just bought a set last fall and got the 1" ones. They do slip a little.
  16. Oh Boo hoo. You guys get a little taste of what we go through every winter and you would think it was the end of the world.I wish it would snow up here, our ground is bare.
  17. I used like the show but it got old pretty quick. No great loss in my book.
  18. Anyone have a RSTD that they soloed out? Do you have pictures. Where did you get the rack for the back fender.
  19. 5k on a 99. Didn't ride it much. Wern't the older ones less hp. When did the start making them with more hp?
  20. Pretty sure it is in the saddlebag under the liner.
  21. I carry a small 1/4 drive socket set from craftman and with a 6" extension and a set of metric socket head allen wrenches. The small socket set has a 1/4" to 3/8" adapter so I can use a few sockets I carry also. The whole thing along with the tools takes up very little room. Even used the allen head sockets to fix a Harley once. Ground wire on the starter was loose and my ratchet with the allen wrench socket was the only thing that would work at the campsite at Americade.
  22. 2005 chevy malibu1999 ford f150 4x4

  25. I have the Mustang on mine and like it. I'm 5' 8" with a 30 inseam and have no trouble flatfooting the bike. All seats are different and what works for one person might not work for anouther.
