  1. If you check out this thread this is a fairing that was on my LC1500 also fits the C90 and it was easy to mount. You could just order the Memphis Shade and do like I did with the Wide open Custom fairing. Just the fairing sells for 699. http://venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=41001
  2. I cured mine by turning the stereo up.
  3. Thanks for the link. I will order one tonight.
  4. If what she is saying is true then it just wasn't right and I'm not proud of my country for treating her like that but we may not be getting the whole story.
  5. It's a Wide Open Custom. It was made to the Suzuki C90 but can easily be made to fit the RSTD. I love it and have Sirus, CD player and am fm with four speakers. Cost with the speakers and radio were $799 and add anouther 100 for the sirus tunner.

  7. Just installed the light bar with the passing lights on my RSTD. What a PIA. The directions wern't real good but now that I have done it, it would be easier the second time around. Feeding one of the wires up through the special bolt was easy but getting the second one with the bullet connector on it was imposible. I tried evey way imanginable and there was just no way. After 20 minutes with it I cut the connector off and put a new one on after I fed the wire up through. Also the directions are not clear on what connector goes where. It's kind of trial and error. Also the screws and hex head bolts are not easy to get at but I was able to get through it. I really looks nice now. I did get it done and will post a picture here later.
  8. Suzuki C90. I had an 03 LC1500 and it was a great bike. Very nice riding position. Or maybe the C109.
  9. I like the rims just the way they are because it doesn't show the dirt and road grime as much. Just one more thing that you have to keep shiny. You can hardly see the wheels on the bike anyway. JMO
  10. Nice bike. Whats the kbb on it anyone know.
  11. They make good practice for evasive manuvers.
  12. Them dang things will jump up and grab you if your not ready for them. Hot sunny day and rain are the worst. Gives you a pretty good pucker factor.
  13. Neighbor of mine had a hired man burry his 4wd tractor in the spring and he did something I had never seed done before. He cut down a tree near the and cut it into 4 foot logs then straped the logs to the tires with chains and the logs picked the tractor right up out of the hole slick as you know what.
  14. Lots of good ideas here. I think making a ramp maybe with a 2x6 to get it up higher and a 2x10 for a ramp might work.
  15. Not much better here in VT. Glad I'm working this Saturday.
  16. Last year the group I go with rented a house in the Catskills NY and there were anywhere from 13 to 17 for the week. Total cost for the house and 7 breakfasts and 4 dinners was $175 and myself and one other guy did the cooking. I was a chef for 30 years and he owned a resturant so we ate well. It made the trip much more affordable. We had a great time and there were always plenty of volenteers to clean up after the meals. I would recomend this type of vacation to anyone. This year we are headed to WV and the house is really nice. Can't wait.
  17. I have to agree with others here that the Canada side is much nicer. Go up in the tower, it is really nice at night when the falls are lighted up. Went on a 6 day trip around Lake Huron and we ended up in Niagra for the last day.
  18. Thanks I just ordered the one on ebay. Cheapest I've seen yet.
  19. Mine had what ever oil the dealer uses when they change it at 600 miles and I just did my first oil change and went with the Rotella T and it seems to be quieter. I used it in my old bike (03 Suzuki LC1500) for 54k and never had an issue with it and the clutch worked fine still.
  20. Mine are mounted like picture #1. I like them that way I can rest my heal on the floorboard. Here's a link of the pics of the bike. http://venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=41001
  21. Trying to find out where to get one. Will that one fit the 08 RSTD?
  22. I just did a test tow with my new trailer and I had 6 cement blocks 16x16 x1 in it and 4 bags of mulch. It actually towed much better with the weight. I figure it was over 200lbs easy. I put the blocks up towards the front keeping the weight on the ball.
  23. I'm a superviser in a Customer Service dept and I would not be happy if one of my techs sent that reply. Should have been (We are sorry but it we only honor the sale price if the sale was within 7 days. Thank you for your patronage, we value our customers. The superstore.
  24. Dah I put it in the wrong place.
  25. Just did it. Let see if it worked.
