Found a few more motorcycle enthusiasts today
hunter 1500 replied to LilBeaver's topic in Watering Hole
That's really cool. I wasn't much older then them when I went for a ride on a friend of my older sisters Norton Comando. After that I always loved motorcycles. Started out riding a Honda 50 cc when I was about 13 on the back roads. -
Thanks I emailed them and used the link and this time it worked. Go figure.

Or maybe a detuned V-Max engine. FI would be nice. I see the new V-Max has it.

Just tried to oder one and I keep getting a box that says it timed out and I can't get the order to go through. Were you guys able to order online?

It's getting there. Your bike looks a lot like what I have done with mine. I have the same cup holder even. I have a luggage rack on the back fender. Did you go with the Colorite paint. Like I said I used it and the reducer from them and the painter used his clear coat and it is a perfect match. -
Thanks, I have never had a claim and hope I never do. Next time I talk to the Ins Agency I will have to ask about it. I don't deal direct, I go through an agency.

On our group rides the limit is two beers at lunch and I myself would not like riding with anyone that had more than two. Try setting up a corse and riding through it sober and then after drinking 3 beers in a half an hour. I think the outcome would suprise you.

Had one ten years ago and have to have anouther one this winter. Not looking forward to it. The worst part is drinking the stuff. I have had to do that three times and I never can drink it all. I always get sick. Next time I will mix it with lemonade.

I got a letter saying they could save me money and I called and they couldn't match Dairyland.

Sounds like you got a great deal.

I had the 404 on the front and the k555 on the back of my LC1500 and they were the best combo of tires I put on it. Handled real well wet or dry.

Try Dairyland Ins co. Cheaper than all those.

Will it be shown in the states? I will look for it. -
I saw this on anouther forum and thought I would share because I really liked it. The shop that fixed the bike is about 30 minutes up the road. [ame=http://vimeo.com/11285536]The Norton Project on Vimeo[/ame]

I had that happen last weekend. We havn't had and amount of rain and the roads were real slick and felt the back tire break loose. In PA down near Williamsport it had rained hard enough so there was no problem.

My Fairing W.I.P
hunter 1500 replied to bluerstd08's topic in Royal Star and Royal Star Tour Deluxe Tech Talk
This is mine. It was easy to adapt. Had to take the plastic parts for the quick disconnect windshield and the top holes on the fairing bracket fit right on. I then just made a brace to go to the lower one and it was done. I've since had the fairing painted with Colorite paint. Pricey but well worth it because the match is perfect. http://venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=41001 -

What make of fairing is that? I adapted the fairing that I had on my LC1500 to fit the RSTD and it was real easy. -
Rear End Maintenance Guidance

It sounds more like a wheel balance problem. Check to see if any of the weights are missing. -
+1 Too busy for my taste.
