Did you blow air in the carb where the drain holes are in the bottom?
-
After sitting during the cold season I started the bike with no problems. It was running when I noticed a puddle of gas on the floor. It is dripping off the bottom of the carbs I put a can of seafoam in the tank and ran it turning the gas off and letting the carbs run dry, then opened gas doing this over maybe 25 to 30 times. Still it is leaking i can close the pepcock about half way and it will not leak while riding it. I guess the floats are stuck. I was told to but some avation fuel and run a tank full maybe that would clean them and stop them from sticking. Any help from you all please reply.

Thanks Mike I was thinking and searched last night about the clock resetting and go up this morning and checked the backup fuse and it was blown. Replaced it and all is working again. But I did not see the audio fuse where is that?

Thanks everyone once again I also noticed that the clock after I set it went back to being off again. I will pull everything back apart again tomorrow to see if I can find the problem. I will check out what you have said first. I do miss the radio more than I thought I would!

So after putting the fairing back together after fixing the wiring to my horn. I went for a ride today and no radio. I thought I checked all my connections while I had things apart but I must have hit the radio connection. So I'll be taking it all back apart tomorrow. I guess there is nothing I can check with out taking the fairing apart.

So I found the problem! Not good! But I fixed it! Take a look at the pictures and guess what happened? THANKS to everyone that replied and helped with my horn problem. What a pain in the @#*($#!!!!!! As you can see there was about 1 inch of the black and pink wires missing and insulation missing from the other wires also missing.
-
Is there anyone that can help me locate the different connectors that the horn wires go through? A 20pin and a 6 pin and maybe another one so I can find my problem and get the horn working again. Thanks

I have the switch housing apart the horn switch has a black wire and a pink wire. Neither has power to it. But the wires end hook to the oem horn a pink and brown both have 11.6 volts.
-
The volts on the two wires are the stock oem wires pink & brown that hooked to the oem horn. I used them along with new wires when I installed the stebel horn.
-
I put power to the horn and it works! I checked the wires to the horn they both have 11.8 volts brown and pink when I put ground to frame and check them. When I push the horn button the volts stay the same so is it the horn switch?
-
I took the handle bar switch apart I did wash the bike a week or so ago. Everything was dry but the contacts on the horn button were black. I cleaned them well and put everything back together and still no horn! I do not hear the relay clicking when I push the horn button.
