Yes, I'm in Sooke. Thanks for the reply. I have found out my tires are 10 years old so thinking I should replace before next summer. Where did you buy your tire from? Interested in going on Sunday drives? Are you connected with any local groups? I just started riding after 16 years so need to get connected again. Doug

I'm relatively new to the site so learning to post etc. I hope this works. I asked a question the other day but I think it got lost in my lack of knowledge how to post. Anyway, question was what are you using on your first generation venture for tires? I have since found a great web site (http://www.canyonchasers.net/shop/generic/tires.php) which appears to be well written and full of good info. I have since learned that my 84 and 89 have 9 and 10 year old tires on but are not worn very much. Take a read and tell me what you think as well what are you riding on (other than butt) and do you have a preferance? D

Looking for feed back on what Venture (1st gen) owners are riding on. My 84 and 89 have Dunlop Elite II's on. I talked with a GW owner and he was running the Elite series 3. I would like to hear from others and their experiences. Rain is an issue on Vancouver Island so will be taking that in considerations. Doug
