Same happened to me other day. Check the hazard switch. For me it was simple. Turn the hazards on and off which solved the issue until I can take it apart and clean the contacts

There are a lot of variables with life of brakes. Load, driving habits, . Are you in city traffic, do you wait till the last minute to apply the brakes causing you to stop aggressively. Keeping the brakes clean and free of oil is most important and just change them when needed. As far as your question of the dust more on one side. You notice more wear on one side.?

After getting the bike to run perfect I decided to try out the cruise. There was a gremlin who must have snuck on. Turned the switch on and 3 lights came on. ON SET RES After 3 seconds only the on was lit. I flipped the set switch and RES light blinked. I rocked between SET/ACEL and RES/COAST The SET light came on and I was in cruise but she was accelerating. A little more switch play and I could set cruise but not acel when I wanted, then no set at all. LoL Should I get a Can of Gremlin reppelent?

Garage!? I tried parking the lawn mower, snow blower, and gardening equipment outside the shed so I could fit the bike in.. nearly knocked myself out. Id like to add a question here. I checked my fluid level because I had to replace a hose. I removed the radiator cap and filled the radiator. I then started the bike so it could suck in the fluid. It ran till it was out of fuel because the tank was removed abd also sucked in the coolant It took another 2cups . I put everything back together. Should I just be able to add more to the expansion tank or do I have to remove the fuel tank again to check the level in the radiator?

I usually don't fill till I've already gone in reserve. When I got the bike the petcock was really tight. After using it once a week, it hasn't become any less easier

You can always spray some ether or can cleaner. If the lines are bad they will suck in the gas and change your engine speed

Take a hose to your local auto parts. They will match it up

Just purchased a blank. It's actually a yamaha blank and not the genetic type. I will take it to a few different lock Smith's in the next few days. I am a truck driver so I just pass a few everyday. Maybe I just went to a locksmith who want to professional.
