    The sportster will be easier to move if you had to sell in a pinch.thay sportster should be worth about $4k. And it will hold that value longer.They are both nice bikes.I would snatch up the Harley if it checks out mechanically.Good luck

    No the tranny has the wrong locking tourque converter. I had the 5.0 92 Camaro and was thinking t he same thing, Theres so much to change. its easier cheapr and less headaches to find an lt1 3rd gen.

    I have the larger for the Rstc sitting on my dresser.I lost the link to this done on the 96. I also fear gas milage would suffer.My bike is really cold blooded and pops on decel also but gets 41mpg almost religiously. I would like to ride to work more often but 15 min warm up time changes my mind.

    Ok no need to beat him up for choosing not to di it himself.The job was easy but time consuming.Easy if you are mechanically inclined. With that said. It should take them 10 minutes to measure. If not too costly changing the shims to largest tollerance even if within spec may be a good idea.This is what I did. 29k and all within spec but now I won't be afraid if I go over next schedule by a few thousand miles.

    I just bought my second kit from skydoc_17 first kit went into a friends bike.He calls me a genius because I took full credit for the upgrade.......yeah I know, its shamefull but hes not a computer person and will never meet skydoc_17. He raves about it sup much in fact that I just purchased one for my bike.Will bed going on tommorow.Directions are spot on and Earl is always willing to answer my questions or just chat for a few. My clutch slipped about 3 times in 5 months but usually when in last gear and hammering the throttle. Just as my buddy this will stop shortly. Thr stuff pull is just too easy to pick on so ill leave that one alone

    not the rotor but My 85 toyota camrys brake pad exploded in 1998 on the way to work. front right side which left all the braking to left side and emergency brake was badly out of adjustment. Not gooooooood.

    Well Why didnt you says so. I want one too now. For emergency towing just to get back to the shop or home. For some reason I pictured you towing it cross country to maintanance day or something similar. Simple scenario. You break down, wife has the minivan, she can come by and pick you up quicker than a tow truck. You would have to be real careful and use high quality straps to lock the handlebars in place

    Extra weight transfered to rear wheel. BAcking up will have a longer arm which will not turn like a trailer . Even forward turns would create a large swinging arm . Im sorry if it doesnt make sense. back to geomotry. The rear wheels of the towing vehicle is the fulcrum, from the fulcrum to rear bike tire is the arm. There will be too much side force created and may damage mor ethan the tire. if you ever see a tractor trailer making a sharp turn keep notice of the rearward wheels. They wont turn as fast and actually slide on the pavement creating large side force

    I just picked up 2 sets of jeep liberty horns from the local wrecking yard for $15. .. I chose these horns for thier beefy sound and small profile. I will be mounting one under each saddle bag pointing out and the other 2 in front pointing down or maybe on the forks pointing down.These are not flashy chromed but should blend in with the dark spots on the bike. I love the way they sound.Will include pictures and video when I get them mounted.Hope to put them on tommorow. P.S I will be powering them through a relay.

    I got my deerskin leather gloves on clearance at khols with a khols cas card valued at $20.Didnt cost me a thing.3 years ago and they wore through so I bought some sport gloves and they dont compare.I will be checking khols again

    I just let go of my camaro 3rd gen with the 351.TPI. Yours is the 305 TBI should pump 176 horses and will tourque the nuts on an excavator. Be careful with it,I could have lost my license many times.Thr car would do 150.I had mine up to 135mph sloqed it down and passesd a trooper, luckily I slowed down in time.     I looked at one for trade for my older camaro LS1.I was 375lbs at the time.What a joke.The guy and his fiance had a hell of a time. I went home in disgust and my great wife made me understand that a summer car would take awsy from my true passion and that I need sometging comfortable for winter drives to work. I got a VW jetta. I think I want my camaro back
