How do stock clutches hold up to a trike conversion? Or do they modify them?

Dingy, I have to say nice job with Ignitech deal. You did a nice job programing for a 1990 TCI. Runs great. Maybe some changes low end but otherwise great. I have to give you a hand that must have been alot of work. You are appreciated. Thanks, Jim .:thumbsup2::thumbsup2::clap2::clap2: -
Oops hijacked thread now back to 1st gen v 2nd gen. Never rode a 2nd gen only sat on them.
-
You did alot of nice work on that there speedster. I admire your work wish I had the time to do that. I was just talking about unmodifed 1st Gens . The GW just has raw power in every gear and I guess that new BMW will chew up a wing.
-
A 1800 Wing will roll up and smoke an unmodified 1st Gen. Not that Im happy about that , but those numbers are deceiving.

That s how Indian Larry died doing a holy man.

If your running 4500+ rpm all the time your has mileage has to be crap
-
These bikes were designed for 55 mph former USA speed limit in 5th gear so your in the the low 3000 rpm range. I dont really like cruising steady speed above 4000 rpm.
-
So its an amazing very capable motorcycle. Hopefully its pretty quiet not some annoying noise machine like some people that feel the need to blip the throttle with overly loud pipes. Your probably used to the crappy 1st gen brakes at least( I think they leave alot to be desired.) Good brakes would be a nice change. Though it seems people room is for smaller people and storage isnt as big. I dont like harleys throttle by wire either same issue slight delay.

Thanks mine works fine now.

anyone seen one of these "alarms"
CrazyHorse replied to mike042's topic in Venture and Venture Royale Tech Talk ('83 - '93)
It might run up to the start switch. -
Ammo should still work.
