  1. Pretty wild design I admire the engineering.
  2. Someone has to develop a black box fryer when your involved in an severe accident it destroys the black box.
  3. Yes they can tell what roads your speeding on.
  4. Yes this is very true a friend of mine was in a severe accident where a vehicle blew through a light drag racing another at hit him. Friend in coma for a month. They used the black box from the offending vehicle to show his speed and whether he attempted to stop at light which he didnt. He got 10 million, 5 of which went to attorneys and medical bills. 23 surgeries later and a bunch of pain but functioning not worth it in my book.
  5. Hows this with the mirrors? You can see with them ok?
  6. What exactly is not wsorking.
  7. Disney cruise ships pretty nice. Lots of stuff for kids to do all day. A couple restaurants, bars, pools. The cruise part was nice didnt care much for the Bahamas stop dirty, beggers, people wanting to braid your hair. Didnt get to their island due to weather went back to Bahamas Freeport which again got hassled. Cruise part great though.

    RV ?

New RV's are not immune from problems out of all "toys" as my wife calls them RV's have given me the most headaches with things that go wrong way over boats, MC's, etc. I know many of folk that have one problem after another even with new ones. Remember they are depreciable asset they lose value quickly not like a home. Thats why I would really consider a used one that is a year or two old most of the bugs should be worked out by then and why lose $20,000 driving it off of the lot. New RV's are great if your made of money if your not I would definitely go used. Most of them will not have been used that much. If your living in them full time they wear out quicker. You have to take care of them they are work. Storage is another problem if you dont have covered storage I would use a cover since the sun beating down on the top dries out roof seals making them more prone to leaks which are a nightmare sometimes to find according to my neighbor who worked at an RV dealer repairing them. I have found that most RV's are not constructed all that well anyway. I'm not trying to discourage you from buying a new one they are nice to have just trying to save you some money in the long run. From someone who has been there. Jim
  10. Starting to see $2 a gallon now here in Illinois
  11. How bout the cost of shipping.
  12. The original setup did not have enough adjustment for me. Yes, Voyager bars are adjustable and comfortable but you have to worry bout hitting the mirrors if you adjust them too much, plus they are normal bars so you can attach stuff easy like GPS.. I had to much tendonitus from the old bars who ever designed the angle of those bars ought to be shot. Poor design in my opinion. I like my bars more foward like a dirt bike or a Roadking. Look at my pictures. I also have a set of black powder coated risers with chrome inserts from the original set up if someone wants them. I think I have a pictoral somewhere on this site about how I did Voyager bar set up.

    RV ?

I have to agree take a look at how much your going to use it. Your not gonna save money buying an RV you'll be burning it. RV's cost money so be prepared. Something always goes wrong be prepared to fix it yourself or head to a dealer. I've owned 2 currently using a 5th wheel setup which I like but still dont use it as much as I would like up here in the north. Camping season May-Oct so I lose 6 months of the year. Mines 37' long which makes it a pain to park in normal campgrounds. I like trees and woods when I'm camping not real fond of the parking lot type of campgrounds. Don't get me wrong I love camping but if I wasnt real fond of it I wouldnt own one. I would never buy new let someone else take the hit for a new one. I picked up my Ford F350 and the 5th wheel for half what they were worth from a guy desperate to sell. Most of the RV's are not used that much so I would definitly go used. Just my 2 cents.
  14. Merry Christmas from up here.
  15. Yes I agree the stall lines are good and the best part is you dont have a cone for your front wheel to slide on when you hit it and take you out. Dont ask how I know.
  16. Opec is cutting production for the new year they are saying gas will be 2.50-3.00 bucks again.
  17. I dont know how you Canucks deal with that to much being inside the house for me.
  18. I think these things are better suited to be used on Harleys where you can access the spark plug easily. I'll probably put mine up on ebay.
  19. I dont care for the colortune either. Too hard to use on these motors with deep wells. I noticed hardly any change with my original 37.5 mixture screws but with the original 42.5 screw of 1983 I noticed a change but I use the rpm method instead of my colortune.
  20. Ive driven the panhandle in winter man do you boys get some ice storms being from Northern Illinois I'm used to driving in snow but I gotta admit a panhandle ice storm is scarier.
  21. Many of them arent interested in retro look they r hopping up japenese cars. They have different tastes.
  22. 14 grand is steep probably paying for that HVT which I wouldnt like but I love the advancement in technology I read somewhere the mid class 650 etc was the new big seller at least a manufacturer is out there thinking bout the future not living in the past. I would like it better bigger and more protected with more equipment. New GW should be out for 2010
  23. We dont have any inspections in Illinois I wired mine to power on when I want them too either high or low beam.
  24. Agreed at least they are doing something. I kinda like it to small for me though notice the 680 cc motor I guess thats selling now with gas at one time being high. Now if they made a bigger version with all the bells and no vtwin Id take a look at it.
