    Mine goes slightly left also not sure if its from my crash though. I also readd somewhere that our rear tire is offset from the front. I cant remember where I saw this though.

    Mine whines like crazy when I pull the clutch in it goes away. I'm have acquired the clutch pressure plate bearing. Gonna see if that helps.

    I find my mileage really suffers when I get over 4200 rpms speed unknown actual spedos way off.

    Its my understanding the that the airjet under the diaphram controls how fast the diaphram responds the smaller the faster 1983 was 180 my 1990 is 170. I also put in 83 needle set which have a more aggressive taper at the end my 1990 and multiple notches to raise or lower the needles. The 170 air gave quicker throttle response for me. Squeeze knows alot about this. Maybe he'll chime in. Now with the 83 needles set to the lowest needle point and then lowered again using the 5bikes method i get about 42 mpg plus the nice benefit of better power if I want to crank on the throttle due to the more aggressive needle taper.

    Have to disagree with this my buddies Wing in 5th gear just has to twist the throttle and he walks away. Where I'm having to downshift to try to keep up.

    Agreed Wing is to powerful even for a 1st Gen. Don't ask how I know.

    How accurate is your speedo mine is way off about 10 mph at 70 mph. So its reading 70 I'm doing 60 in reality. I'm about 4200 rpm at 70 GPS speed regular VR drive. This drive would explain 83's awesome test results. 4200 rpm seems to be the cutoff point where mileage really starts to suffer anything higher and I'm back in the 30's

    How do know how far to bump it? I guess I'll try and find the instructions.

    Yes in northern states that actually have winter you definetley loose a few miles per gallon in the winter.

    Where are you measuring for this? Do you have a photo measuring the gap and where to do it?

    Is the float saturated with fuel inside it? Do you have a small scale to weigh each one?

    Would this bearing cause a whine or whirring noise? I have this whirring/whine noise all the time when in gear that drives me nuts but it goes away when I pull the clutch in and you don't hear it at idle out of gear. People riding next to me often comment on how loud it is. Any thoughts Squeeze?

    With you brother! Not to insult anyone here they gotta change the style get something different. Too many bikes look the same, cut out of the same boring cookie cutter mold. Can't tell one from the other. They gotta get something that catches your eye. The Victory Vision does that. Your like whats that? Too bad I dont care for the style of the Vision but its different. Time for a CHANGE!

    Nice job. Is that a digital volt meter on the right dash and where did you get it? hows the stator performing?
