My Droid X has been great with Verizon. This phone can do everything its a phone a gps, mp3, email, weather, traffic, a small computer. I'm thinking of getting rid of my Garmin 550 on the bike and just using the phone since it can do everything in one package. ATT service aint the greatest unless you live in a city and dont leave it.

Never been able to find an email for them what is it?

Me too. I pretty much use just the front brakes with a little rear. I like the way BMW does it integrates the opposite way. The front brake handle will activate some rear brake. I dont like the rear brake activating the front. I got rid of the linking.

Your joking right? GW lighting system is awesome especially when you make the driving lights work with the bright headlights. We dont have inspections in Illinois for that. Thank God.

Dont bother with the nav. Know a guy who has one he likes his Garmin better and uses that instead. Cheaper also the updates are expensive I hear.

Its my understanding that the 1st gen is rather limited in electrical capacity. Is there a way to improve this? I guess a new stator with slighty more power but dont you run into destroying your wiring. Is there another way to get upgraded power to other items heated seats grips etc. Like a transformer or something with its own wiring system? I dont know much about electricity so I'm sending out the challange to those out of the box thinkers that do.

crusing RPM's
CrazyHorse replied to RWITT's topic in Venture and Venture Royale Tech Talk ('83 - '93)
About right these bikes were made when 55mph was the speed limit which would give you around 3100 rpm at that speed. So if these bikes came out today they probably would have a lower rpm at 65mph.
