  1. if I leave now I could make it. I envy you Southern guys:snow:
  2. I'm curious who said it was a concept bike because there is one that looks very similar at a dealer here in Mississauga. It's had the extended swing arm and other mods done but it's no Concept bike.
  3. I was thinking a girl for the back would be good too but then I remembered the old "tits or tires giving me trouble" saying so I'll stick with a new mustang seat.
  4. What's that saying? Genius has a limit but stupid doesn't? My friends dad was a cop and years ago they used to put side cars on for the winter. Brrrr.
  5. Umm how about the telephone company. Cable company. Internet provider. The list goes on...
  6. I signed up at a show last year and really enjoy the mag. Two thumbs up.:happy34:
  7. http://i700.photobucket.com/albums/ww2/YYZACE/brunch.jpg I'm on the left
  8. LA Choppers mufflers. If only spring would come now.
  9. I've always been an over the top kind of guy but I'm an overkill kind of guy too.
  10. the GTS looks like it was way ahead of it's time. Might sell better today.
  11. hahahahaha. Nice shot.
  12. Or here but if it's out West that usually means it's on it's way.
  13. Careful what you wish for. I can understand the fasination if you are not used to it but when you have to deal with it for 5 or more months a year along with freezing temperatures, snow looses it's appeal. Of course the worst part is you can't ride for those 5 or more months.
  14. Wait a minute. What do you mean bring it with them. We havn't had any snow in Toronto yet. It's still 43 degrees here today.
  15. it wasn't very accurate up here was it Blue Giant?
  16. Hi guys. I'm reading that a 165/80 is the prefered size for our bikes. Is this because it is basically the same as the stock tire or will nothing wider fit? I like the unidirectional tread patters available on several 185/65 tires and it's only a 5% difference. Has anyone ever tried a 175 or 185? thanx

as the olde saying goes, once you go Mac you never go back.
  18. Here is my 2 cents for what it's worth. I tried some that clamped to the floor boards but because of the heel shifter my foot was almost trapped in. I did'nt feel safe at all. I'll look for some that clamp to the engine guard in the spring.
  19. OK it says it's a 1600cc with a long stroke so it makes good torque (96LB) at 2000RPM. Our 1300's make 90+. I think the 6 should be more. What am I missing?

    How long

I was a late bloomer or mid-lifer depending how you want to look at it. I got a 98 Shadow ACE last year at the ripe old age of 43. This August I traded it in on a 99 RoyalStar. In total I have about 9000 miles under my belt but I'm learning.
  21. All the ferries I took this summer supplied big wooden wedges to jam under the right side of the frame. I understand ships on rough crossings will have tie down points on the deck but you may have to supply your own straps. First on, first off was my experience.

  23. I know there is a Yamaha upgrade seat for mine and I was told it was made by Corbin so YES
  24. I was also with Kingway till this year. My agent switched me to Jevco after the rate jumped upon renewal.
  25. I bought what appears to be the same wheel chock earlier this year here in Ontario and paid about $170 for it!
