Never leave home without it!
-
I ahve had friends killed, maimed in auto accidents, 1 on as city bus, 1 hurt in a mc crash. Also had a friend lose her house, husband, and 2 kids in a house fire. That was the worst. Lost my grandad to too much beer, had a friend die from a heart attack due to eating poorly, weight. Lost my dad and his sister to brain tumors. Not to sound cold or heartless, life happens. Some good, some bad. I can choose to hole up in a corner somewhere and wait for the worst, or I can live my life to the fullest for me. Wearing full leathers, full face gear, and armored undies and gloves does not appeal to me. God forbid I leave my family and friends in a bad way, but far worse to live sheltered and scared! If the fear of a accident ever strikes me, then I will be sure to sell my ride with gear, and hole up in a cave.

Let know when you ride up. You should be going close by my house, and we can meet up. If you dont plan to make the entire trip in one day, let me know and we will make room for you.

From the way I understand it from a SC state trooper friend, the biggest problem they had was the sprt bike biker week. As they could not single out people, they cut all people. Also, the residents spoke up about what they did or did not want, and the city listened. Democracy at its finest. This is the way it should be. Although I had a great time at the bike week I attended, the residents have spoken, and I respect their decision.Sometimes a few will ruin it for everyone.

I bought the blem, I never could find the the blem though, and had it in Va in 3 days.

I have yet to hear any whine or chirp at all. It sounds the same as every other bike I have ever owned.

No offense, but I see a lot of "opinions" and we all know what thet means. I see very few facts. Because I am not a helmet manufacturer, nor tester, I will side with 5 year plan. The cost of a new helmet is for me is around 125 for a half, and 350 for a full. I pland to ise it like my insurance policy. It will cost me so much a year to own the helmet much as the insurance policy does on a annual basis. I have no plans to ever use this policy, much like the helmet, but I will be glad that it is paid should the unfortunate time ever come to pass. Thats my .02 worth.

Now all of you know why we have signs that say...." No customers in the shop area due to insurance reasons". My shop insurance does not care, but my mechanics do.
-
Keep track of what? All of that stuff was on my bike when I bought it......

Congrats on the new bike!

I hope your cousin comes through ok. On a side note, please look into Duke university for his care. they took care of my father and my aint when they had brain tumors. They are the best and ranked #1 in the world. The head doc there is a terrific guy, and really takes the time to answer your concerns. He gave my father 5 good years, whereas all the other docs gave hime 6 months. God bless.

Bike route from Niagara falls to Pigeon Forge?
Wolf replied to Mosborough Piper's topic in Watering Hole
If you come back down 219, when you get to Winchestewr, Virginia, give me a call, and I will escort you down the Skyline Drive and feed you some great BBQ. -
I paid 15,500 for mine in Winchester Ben. I can check with the dealer and see if they have any more left. Send me a PM if you need me to check.

I work on them all the time. Stay away. They have bad head problems, wiring, and transmission issues.

I use Allstate, and my full coverage was $950 a year, then we added a 09 vulcan 900 for the wife, and my total policy dropped to $885.00 for the year. It is a great discount considering that I have added a bike, and they are both full coverage with a $500 deductible. We also use them for home owners and auto. My policy also covers other drivers as well should I loan a bike to someone.

I prefer to beat them with my helmet! I mean, it is a safety device after all.....

My wife has the same problem, and this is all I could find. I have not ordered it yet, but plan to soon. If you do get it, please write a review. http://www.buymotorcyclehelmets.com/Motorcycle+Levers+Adjustable+Clutch+Lever+for+Japanese+Bikes~~387.html

My 09 was the same. The dealer had not left enough cable length, so the plug pulls lose when you turn the handlebars. They fixed it that day for me.

I hope you and your family have a speedy and complete recovery. If you are in need of anything, please feel free to send a message.
