It hasn't been 2 weeks ago I told my wife about this. I agree, they should have carried the black on around to the tip of the armrests. .

You know, that doesn't look that bad. I just don't like the vtwin replacing the v4. This would probably make me feel the same way the 1st Gen owners feel toward the 2nd Gen bikes.

I know Footsie and others have had good luck with the CT and I never did get used to it, but has anyone tried to put the max air pressure in and riding it. I'm thinking the sidewalls are more flexible than a MT so I was wondering about inflating to tire recommended max. I don't remember what the max inflation that is written on the side of the tire. I also don't remember if I tried this or not when I had mine on the bike. I'm also thinking if it takes so much pressure to seat the beads and doesn't blow up at 80-100 psi, maybe if the tire could be run at, say, 50 psi????? Ok I just went out and looked at the tire that was on my bike.It says max load 1201 lbs at 44psi. So since the bike weighs far less than that considering there's 2 tires to hold it up, maybe someone could try this???? Forgive me fellas , but I still would like to find some way to make this work for me also.

I really wanted to come again this year but work got in the way. From the pics I've seen so far, looks like ya'll had a ball!! Did anyone ever get an estimate on the headcount and bikes present?

Consider getting Mic-mutes installed. That way you can cut off the mics when you are not using them. This will take care of all that extra noise coming through the mics. You can control the volume of the IC with the master control at the left pod.

What do you recommend to Balance and Seal Tires?

Good to see you're back Goose!!! -
I put them on my '09 when I first got it. After riding with them for several months and getting use to the top heavy feel of the bike I took them off because I'm a little bit "vertically challenged" in the leg department. At first it did as others have said. Slow speed handling seemed to have improved tremendously. But the extra seat height kept me tip toeing all the time. I took them off and have never noticed anymore problem with slow speed manuevers . I think this is because I got use to the bike and the high center of gravity. One thing that I have learned in controlling this big heavy bike is to never, ever use the front brake while the front tire is even sightly turned. If you do , you create a very good chance of dropping the bike. In all honesty, they will help in the slow speed maneuvers but, give yourself a little time to get use to the bike. You won't find a better ride, IMO!! On the other hand, if you don't have short legs, go ahead and put them on and you will probably never take them off.

I don't know a whole lot about your problem other than what you said, but to me it sounds like your ignition switch is going bad. You may can take it apart and clean it out, I don't know. Maybe someone with more knowledge will chime in. Good luck and let us know how you get it fixed. -
if you are so inclined..........

One day at a time brother. One day at a time. Prayers sent. -
Bill I've got your Mic-Mutes on my '09 and haven't had any problems out of them. As a matter of fact, I don't think I would like the bike nearly as much without them!! Thanks for a great product!!:clap2:

I didn't try it when I installed my Venturemp3 player, but supposedly you can use the plug for the cassette player or the CD player plug.

I have used and never had a problem with the Fram filters but after reading about the way they were put together here and on other websites, I quit using them and went to the SuperTech. Now they're gone, so I''ll be using the Purolator filters from here on out. Makes no sense to push my luck with the Frams!!!

fix for broken windshield bracket tabs

Sometimes the fork leg covers will rattle. They're located directly beneath the triple clamps. Also if you are missing the rubber bumpers behind the air deflectors just above the front fender, they may be vibrating against the fork tube covers. If the bumpers are still intact they should be just touching the covers. -
