Don't take it the wrong way. I wasn't knocking it, it was just w-a-y over my head. It was impressive.

Small world ain't it. Green bag was taller and smaller in diameter. Looks more like white bag can.

:confused07::starz: Uhhhhh, Carbtune??????

Thanks to all of you all for your responses to Long Tall. I, too, am interested in a trip up in this area, but it will probably be next year if I can swing it. I had planned on it this year but the way the economy fell out, I had to use up my money that I saved for that trip on other things. Anyway I'm gonna mark this and keep this post handy for another time. Thanks again!!

They look an awful lot like the canisters that contained white bag powder charges that we used when I was crew chief on a M109A6 155mm SP Howitzer. Very watertight!!

All the best !

Haven't seen this in south GA. Maybe it's something peculiar to north GA??? Every mission I've been on has always given the American flag and the families of the deceased the utmost place of honor.
-
Is this suppose to be some sort of airbag for the neck and head???????
-
My wife and I went on a mission a couple of weeks ago where a hero from the Korean war was killed in 1950. He was 21 years old when he died in a foxhole on top of a hill. 62 years later his remains were laid to rest in the GA MILITARY VETERANS CEMETERY in Milledgeville, GA. Full military honors including horse drawn caisson. The "pollen count" was very high that day. I was proud to be there for this.

engine noise through headset

2 Gens don't have mute button. -
The only gear I would change would be first. Make it lower for stop and go traffic, then mostly use second to start off from. Give the engine about 3-4 hundred more cc's for more low end torque. Other than that, leave everything else pretty much alone. Heck, if you could get the hp and torque to match, I'd say put in a 4 speed, after all, why shift, when you don't have to.

My thoughts exactly!!

I like mine too. I want people that I meet to not think I'm riding one of those "other bikes".

I may be wrong but I think you are 100% correct about the play. Without the spacer there doesn't seem to be any way that the tire side of the rear end could stay engage with the pumpkin side, therefore the gears won't stay engaged. The resulting non-meshing would certainly destroy the rear end. If the axle is tightened down without the spacer in there the brake caliper arm will scrub the area surrounding the bearing housing. If left loose so as not to scrub, then the gears don't mesh like they should. Hope you get this worked out...,soon!!!! Keep us posted.

Cylons were from Battlestar Galactic, the Borg were from Star Trek.

He probably thinks you were talking about one of the v-twin models. Most don't even know what a Venture is.

Steering Head Detented

I used this technique about 4 years ago on my Vmax. Works like a charm and if it's ever to be done again all I'll have to do is knock them out. -
I've been waiting since '09. One thing's for sure.., they're either closer to releasing a new Venture or they're closer to just not having one at all.

Well, What's the story behind the pic? Inquiring minds want to know.
