    After all the time that the venture has been on the road why hasn,t any one come up with a harness for trailer plug in before now.... I looked behind the seat and there isn,t much room to hook up new wires and the tail light has wires all over..there got to be something out there Whistler:bang head:

    I put 50 watts from walmart on the front just take out the reflectors off the forks and put them there work great and looks good Whistler:thumbsup2:

    Thanks for the infomation I wasn,t finding anything in the book at all...now I can hook up the wireing... I just got the hitch on I got from venturedad the wireing will complete it Thanks again Ron:cool10:

    I could us a little input...I know that the main wireing for the turn and brake light is under the seat but does anyone know the color code for the wireing... Whistler:cool10:

    Thanks for the info as far as the bearing I was talking about ... The bike being shaft driven I just thought that there was something like u joints bearings or something as i said I got things to learn ..Every bike I,ve had in the past there is always something different Whistler:cool10:

    I,ve been reading in the book that the engine oil also is used for the culch but is it also for the trans... And while i,m at it is the bearings on the shaft sealed or do I grease them....So much to learn Ron (Whistler:cool10:)

    Does any one leave there gas line open w/gas saver in it or do you drain the gas out of carb Ron

    They look good ...but have you considered putting them where the refelters on the front fender is ??? I did and I think they look great snd they move when I turn the front wheel... Ron:thumbsup2:

    If you have a dentist freind they have a bonding cement that works great.. I have seen this done more than once... works I,ve seen it ron:missingtooth:

    I thought the same thing I just wanted to see one frist... As long as there is no holes under the trim.. I don,t like the looks of those 2 little things. ron:cool10:

    I my self like the carbs and the shaf drive I just traded my 05 harley utra clasic for it Got tried of poor mileages and lack of power in high alitude... And the cost of higher octane to run it the cost of the gas is over the top ron:cool10:

    Im sure that some one else has had something closr... When I use the front brakes and I come to a full stop and squeze a little harder the brakes make a noise sounds a little like the chirping that I,ve been reading about... Is there any way to get rid of it ... It seems to get a little loud after awhile Ron:cool10:

    I,ve had both brands and I know the Voyager is a great bike... I had a 2001 and I wished I kept it ... But I traded it in on a Harley Utra when they stoped making them... Traded the harley off on a 08 Venture got tried of the Harley breaking down. Bottom line the Voyager is a great bike Ron:cool10:

    Whistler here I tow a old goldwing trailer withthe same kind of supension and I never had any kind of trouble pulling at any speed even at 75 or 80.... Ron:cool10:

    Just cause you got gas with 8 others doesn,t mean you don,t have bad gas... I have had the same problum riding with a group of bikes and I was the only one that broke down due to bad gas .... It can and will happen Ron

    The wife and I have the j&m head set and it works great and it works with the half helmet the only thing is to place it where the ear is Ron:whistling:

    I ride with the great lakes voyagers and there are new voyagers in the group and no one has had any of the problums that you are saing... Maybe you just got a dad one .. I also just bought a new 08 venture I would have bought the voyager if the dealer would want to make a deal... I think they are 2 realy good bikes Ronalde:banana:

    I have a new 08 Venture and I,m locating some extras like arm rest passenger pegs trailer hitch... But is there asit Ican get a wire harness for pluging a trailer into RonaldE:Venture:

    I have the engine wine at medium speed and higher I put up with it cause I was on a harley.... But I do notice that when I put on the front brake I get a noise mostly when I come to a complete stop and I squeeze a little harder.. Does anyone else have this problum RonaldE:12101:
