I would have posted this earlier , but I guess I live under a rock here . LOL I have been so busy with the new shop , I don't get out much any more . Any way , taking sat June 7th off to go on this ride .

Sort of short notice , but they are having a ride for dad's here in Swift Current June 7th , it should be a good time . Any one coming let me know , would be great to meet up !!

Wow is it ever busy this summer , ha , summer ,, whats that ,, any way I just thought I would toss it out there , but it is going to be hard to pick dates , There is a ride for Dad's on June 7th here in Swift Current ,, any one coming to that . Will try again to get together with some of you during your rides and events , but for now I will just be on stand by and see what happens . Ride safe !!!

I was born here in Swift as well and raised in Morse , , This summer is kind of tight for time , I just started a new business and will not be able to take a lot of time off , but am able to make a bit of a long week end any time . So let's just throw some dates out there and see what works ,,,

Is there any interest in a meet and eat or just a meet up some where in western Canada ??? I am in Swift Current SK. and am interested in getting together with other Venture riders . let me know !!!

March 6th Donna and I are planning to get out of the cold for a bit. Going to drive to Phoenix and see what every one goes there for , LOL , . So I thought I would post on here about our trip to see if there were any MUST SEE or MUST DO . We will be traveling down the IS15 from the Canadian border to Vegas , then over to Kingman , then Flagstaff and end up in Apache Junction . Those are the only plans we have so far , oh ya , get out of the cold , maybe have a beer or 2 ???? LOL Any recommendations ??? Oh ya , we will be in our car , just a bit too much snow here to dig the bike out .

On sunday we had -37c with a wind chill of -57c . My jimmy did not want to start LOL

I feel that if it is not for us all to read then it should not be where we can all see it !!!!!

Well , that seems like enough interest for me. So should we do a one day thing and just meet up and then head home again ? A sat. meet up then go for a ride then a supper , maybe a couple drinks , then head home sun ? or do we want to get together and work on bikes ?

Has there ever been a meet and greet or maintenance day in the Canadian Prairies ???? If so great ,,, but if not ,, then WHY NOT ,, I think there are quite a few of us around here ??? How about we put some thing together ??? Please let me know if there is any interest in this !!!! I am willing to put it together ,, or help in putting one together .

Thanks for the responses , I will just buy the new switch . Will also look at changing some of the wiring to lessen the load .

It started about 4 rides ago , I would turn the key on and Nothing , then I could turn it back just so much and away it would go . Then some times by just turning it to the right spot it would turn over but not start . that is where it is now , if I turn the key just right , every thing comes one and it turns over , but will not start . I guess what I am asking , is , do I have to buy the new Ignition , or does the by pass fix this ???? By the way ,,,, HI every body ,,

I picked up and installed a new pair of mirrors this summer , kuryakyn , with the lights in them , oh ya , 2002 RSMV , now the mirrors seem to vibrate quite bad , I can see lights behind me , but have a hard time telling what any thing is . Do not remember the old mirrors being this blurry . ???????? Any one experience this ??????

We made it home last night, and what a GREAT time we had . Again have to say thank you to all that had anything to do with the International , it was GREAT , Donna and I both had a blast. Will be back later with all the details and maybe even a picture or 2 Steve

I think we are all packed and ready , hoping to pull out around 8am , and planning on getting from Swift Current , SK. to Jamestown , ND. fri. will be around 800 km . This will be a big day for us , but it will all be down hill from there . Any one in that area that would care to join us , would be great . If all goes well , planning to see you all sun evening . My wife and I will be passing threw Yellow Stone on our way home from Sturgis , after the IR , would be some where around the 7-8-9 of Aug. no date for sure

I have been watching the weather for Galena , looks like it is rather warm there . LOL or dare I say D_ _ _ HOT .

We are planning to arrive on the 3-4 (sat -sun ) and leaving 6-7 ( tues - wed ) but are willing to meet up any time while we are there

How bad is it ??????

Just can not seem to get the map to load , any way we are heading out from Swift Current, SK. Canada , on the 26th of July , heading down threw Weyburn , SK. , crossing the border into ND. passing threw Minot , ND. and working our way to Galena . Not sure if that is to vague , but we just never put it into stone what path we are going to take . LOL So again I put it out there , if any one wants to join us that would be great .

We will be heading to Sturgis right after Galena , to see ZZ Top , on the 4th and Kid Rock along with the Doobie Brothers on the 5th . We will be staying at the Creek Side Camp Ground .

We are planning to leave home July 26th , to attend the Rally ,we would like to par take in all the activities there , then it is off to Sturgis to see ZZ Top Aug 4th and Kid Rock Aug 5th , and then a bit of a ride and tour over to Cody WI. and then Yellow Stone on our way home , any one care to join us along the way , that would be great . We have to be home by the 11th of Aug. I am hoping to attach a map to show our route , see if it shows up , LOL .

I finally got to compare my 2002 RSV to another , 2004 , but I always wondered about my throttle response , any way now I know . Mine sucks , it spits and hesitates , well you get the picture . So I thought I would start with checking the slides and then getting a carb sync done . Any thing else I could check ???? Sea foam , sea foam , I have been doing that !!!!
