    I WON!!!

Cool Bud, Glad you didn't get in any trouble over it. Thought for sure the Po Po would need to make extra money for the county and press charges. This is your Lucky Break. Talk Later-
  2. Hey, we all know Insurance Companies are one of the Richest Companies in the world. So it is just a matter of time before they Pay Off the right people to pass laws in all States. Michigan Insurance is horrible, and with all the lay offs here, peoples credit scores have gone way down. Insurance Companies charge thousands more on Credit Risk, Not Driving Records, but because your credit score is low, and the Govenor of Michigan supports the Insurance Companies for Discriminating on Credit Scores, (you know she gets a money pie kick back hidden in some foreign account). Why do you think they have so much trouble trying to pass a uniform Health Insurance Bill. The Insurance Companies would loose Billions, so they keep paying off the right Congressmen so Bills won't pass, and screw the hardworking american people that barly get by. Just my 2 cents. Later-
  3. Hey, Harley is supposed to have a liquid cooled bike. It originally was to come out in 2010, now probably not till 2011 or 2012. But the pictures I have seen of it reminds me of some british bikes in the 60's. As far as Yamaha, don't expect to much other than maybe a few deleted models or color changes. Would be nice to see a newly revamped RSV, but I wouldn't hold my breath. Have Fun, Later-
  4. Hey Don, the bike looks Great, thou it took awhile it was worth the wait. Your mechanic did a excellent job. Looks like you will have many fun days ahead of you. Even enough room for a fishing pole and tackle box, my kind of bike. Talk to you soon, Later-James
  5. What, no pictures of how you re-routed them. #1 Rule, any upgrades requires a picture. Well, maybe not, come to think of it, I haven't take any either. Glad it worked out. Later-
  6. Hey Art, I will keep my eye out in case he comes North. Prayers are with you all. Later- Oh, Thank God, they caught him and your son is okay. Talk soon-

  8. Our Prayers are sent for Vic and for Barb. Jack it takes a real friend to help when one is down. Good job letting us know, so we can ask the Good Lord for his guiding hand during surgery and to help heal. Later-James & Charlene
  9. Hey Herb, Been a couple years but I had a job offer at a Victory Dealer. Did my homework to learn their products and Reviews by Current Owners. Most liked the handling at slow speeds, but they Really Disliked when passing a semi, said it was horrible no matter where the windshield was for rider or passenger, just blew you all around at any speed passing. Other than that most thought the bike was okay. Overall satisfaction, most said they would have rather bought something else for the money. I like all bikes, would own one of each if I had the money. But when I researched all the bikes out there, the RSV kept comming out on top. Good Luck with your choice Herb, Later-
  10. Hey Art, that is a Great Idea, a Michigan International Rally at the end of August. Usually dry weather at that time. Just make it work people will come. Find out how much to camp, local motel prices, food, etc. Never been to that track, but heard it is awsome. Later-

  12. Hey Tim, yes I seen a few this way today also for the last day of Ogemaw Hills Bike Week. But 95%+ were Harleys. Able to talk to a few Star Riders, so it was cool. Hope your event that way turned out nice, ours was and is a wet one today, but the Bike Parade still was Great, large turnout. Have Fun, Later-

  14. Thanks Charlie and all, I will check out that MSF.Org, it will never hurt to learn more, but will hurt if you didn't learn. The truth behind an accident or close call I believe is reaction time and knowing what to do. I did not have time to think, just react. So, just like anything else in life, if you practice, it will be instinctive if something does happen. Thanks for everyones imput. Later-
  15. Thanks all, when the bike wobled and I let off the brake, I instinctively gave it gas to straighten it out, which it did straighten out. But it wanted to fight me at first. It took All I could do to keep her upright. But, now that I think about it, was giving the bike more gas the right decision? or would just letting of the brake, and allow it to straight out itself be right? Heck, I didn't even have time to downshift, not sure why I didn't, I just held in the clutch. But I was watching the deer, we stared eye to eye at each other, sorta hairy feeling. Thought I was hitting that big doe for sure. Trying to learn from this experience, but it happened so fast there really wasn't time to think, just react. If there would have been several deer, and I would have held the brake for a few seconds more, it could have been a bad situation, the wobled or highside was that severe. Thanks for everyones imput. Later-
  16. Thanks Jerry,Larry and Buddy. I agree Jerry this is not the bike to lock up, but I will now look into Rick Butler's proportioning valve. Yes Buddy, just reacted, held rear too long, thanks for the advise will use if this happens again. Thank goodness I was solo. With that thought, if riding two up, fully loaded would it have helped with the woble effect or made it worse? Later-
  17. Hey, Had a few deer start to come out in the past, but they always hesitated when they heard the loudness of my Fishtail Pipes. A few weeks back I took off my Fishtail Pipes and put back on the stock pipes, wife like's the quiteness, but now.... Yesturday, riding thru heavy wooded area close to road, had a deer jump right out in front of me, did not see it, luckily at an angle going away from me. Going about 65mpr, I immediatly hit full breaks, Rear first, then split second, front. Keept the Handlebars straight forward but the Rear End came sideways a little 6-8" to the right. Still was going about 25-35 I'm guessing when the deer passed by, I left off the breaks, But the bike was already doing a woble side to side, like when you pulled the string on a spinning top. Thought I was going to loose it, had bike's do a little woble before when hitting small animals, but nothing this bad. With that much of a woble side to side, Is this Normal??? Later-
  18. Rod, Prayers are sent, and may the Good Lord Bless you all. Later-James

  22. Hey All, I was on ebay looking at the various mono rear shocks for different makes and models. The price they want New and Used for a 2nd Gen Rear Shock is Crazy. Does anyone knows if a shock made for a different bike will fit a 2nd Gen??? Does the RSV shock have to be air assisted or will a standard shock work? Yes mine needs to be replaced, all oil has leaked out, still holds air, but not wanting to go to far, especially two up, with it that way. Thanks, Later-
  23. Hey Carl, and just think, I was sitting in a room with a Celebrity. Maybe now since your famous I can get an autograph with your picture at the next M&E, lol. Seriously, thats cool, glad you were on. Later-
  24. Brad & Lonna, it will be sad to see you two leave our State. But I can truly understand why. I have been in and out of work for over three years now. Last good job ended in 06, since then been on jobs for only a few months and they stop work, not even long enough to draw Unenjoyment. Thank God, wife has consistent job, Walmart, Department Manager. But even with her $10. per hour does not pay the bills, so were with you brother. The only thing that has kept me in this State is our Children (now adults) Family & Friends. Wish you both the Best!!! Later-
