  1. Thanks again everyone, Yesturday went on a little ride, little cool at 35*, but the RSV Trike performed flawlessly around curves, up and down hills, it is great. Handles every bit as good as two wheels, very nice to ride, very Smooth. Later-
  2. Thank You guys, very happy with the bike. Funny Cowpuc with change of name. Later-
  3. Thank You All, I purchased the 03 RSV with Hannigan Trike kit. Rode it home 100+ miles (in rain) and it rode Great. Differently the Right Choice. Later-
  4. Hey all, Well it has been several years since owning one, but I'm very Proud to be Back on a Venture. Bought a 2003 Yamaha Royal Star Venture with a Hannigan Trike Kit today. Unfortuantly weather did not work out, Rained the whole 100+ miles home, but the Venture handled Great. The V4 just rolled on down the road. Later-
  5. That's the kind of info I wanted to know, Thank You Larry, most Appreciated! This is why I like this site, honest answers. Big Investment to us, so wanted to do it right. No Reverse, wished it did, but my Harley with sidecar didn't either. But the wing & sidecar does. More of a pleasure item, but nice to have. Thanks, Later-
  6. Thank You Don. Don't want to second guess, or "I Should Of" thing. So I believe the Hannigan kit will be the way to go, even if four years older and twice the miles. I remember a saying I would tell my children when spending a little more for somethings: "Long after the price is forgotten, true Quality will remain". Later-
  7. Thank You Dion, I agree with comfort, and reliability.
  8. Thank You Don! Planning on this being my one and only trike so Reliability and Comfort for Charlene and I are the most Important. But will admit I really like the blue/black of 07, but the 03 midnight edition, is also nice. Later- PS, hopfully after buying one, we can make it to Maintenance Day.
  9. Looking at two RSV Trikes a Tough Choice. (Yes Mike, on TT Site). 1st is 03 RSV Hannigan IS Trike 60k miles. 2nd is 07 RSV Tri Wing w/extension, Straight Axle, 30k miles. Both about same price. Which Trike Kit is better? Which would you Choose? Thanks-James
  10. Thank You everyone, hopefully buy the RSV Trike this weekend, Later-
  11. Thank You Divey, can't wait to go thru twisties. Mike, no Dejavu, I did post on TT, funny, Thank You for the reply.
  12. Looking at a 03 RSV Hannigan Trike done by Lonestar in Michigan. RSV has just under 60k, No Reverse, but looks very nice with several accessories. Questions: Will Reverse be a Big issue? If so, how much for Reverse? Is $12k a good price? Thank you for your thoughts, Later-
  13. Happy Birthday Cowpuc!
  14. Amen, Happy Easter!
  15. Hey MiCarl, things change in people's lives, but you don't have to leave this Wonderful site, with Great People. Believe me, when you move to the country after a bit you will appreciate motorcycle sites. Good luck and wish you the Best, Later-
  16. Wow, Thank You Everyone for all the Replies! This is Exactly why I love this site, good people with great advice, Later-
  17. Sidecars are fun! I truly enjoy, is it easy, No. But once you get the hang of it with a good set up, man it is a blast. The only problem is when you stop for gas, restaurants, etc. people will come over and ask all kinds of questions, but I enjoy the conversations. Later-
  18. Didn't have one on my RSV, but did on harley and the goldwing. I listed the sidecar I had on the Harley for sale here. It is a great sidecar with lots of room.
  19. Hey all, looking for RSV Triked Owners thoughts. I have been looking at trikes awhile. Even thought about triking my 08 Harley Ultra, but on Harley sites many complain about power, unless you upgrade engine, sprockets, etc. So, I realize as a previous RSV owner it had power on two wheels, but was wondering those of you with RSV Trikes, does your bikes ever struggle on highway speeds, up mountains or pulling a trailer? Mainly does it have Enough Power? Thank You-
  20. Funny, but good luck was with you not to loose any additional parts, you know, with that paint shaker.
  21. As I have said for 30 + Years: "Every Law passed, is another Freedom Lost"!
  22. It is very Sad seeing these Closings. Most of these large companies have No American Pride! GM, Harley-Davidson, GE etc, have sold there soul for $$$. I think GM Executives would sell there own Mother!
  23. Congrads Richard, hope the new/old job is a good start to a fun career, enjoy.
  24. Thanks Gary, really like the color of your trike. Feel wife would be happier on trike, and easy to get used to.
