Had lunch with Lowell today. Sat there for almost 2 and half hours shooting the bull. The wife and I will be meeting him for breakfast fri morning before he heads up to St Charles. He is the Man never fails to call when coming thru one of these days I will get him to the house, lol John

Bill, Doodette and I are fine we never get any of the bad weather here it kind of just scoots around us. We get some heavy rain now and then and some lighting with winds in the 30s or so but nothing much higher in the 6 yrs we have been here. \ Thanks for thinking of us\ John

I met Sharon in 1978 after I got out of the Army. We got Married in 85 best thing that ever happened to me. So will be 23 years in Sept. John

Ive been telling my Wife for months I cant figure out how all you guys are locking up your rear wheel cause I had never done it in the 4 yrs I have had my bike. Well now I know cause I never lift my foot of the floor board to break. Must be habit from the 22 yrs riding my goldwing with floor boards never lifted foot there either. So hope everyone tries breaking with their heel keeping contact with the floor board and their rear wheel lockup probs go away.\ \ John

:rotf:Since Im a prostate cancer survivor going on 8 yrs maybe I can sue Honda for the 22 yrs I rode my Goldwing. Since this guy is the authority on this subject, he did the study. Honda wont want to put out all the money to debunk him and just settle with me ( I will take a new wing in payment) So do you guys think I have a chance here. :rotf::rotf::rotf: I bet I could get a shyster lawyer to take the case too:rotf: P.S. Thats just not right. Your so bad. Hey let Dale know I rode 3 times this week. One day it was in the low 30s and the other 2 were in the low 50s. would of rode today but spent it Christmas shopping with Sharon. Yall just picked the wrong part of Missouri to move to:rotf::stirthepot:. And it looks like all next week I can ride gonna be in the 40s with maybe some rain on wed . Is that enough for ya. lol\ \ John

Hey Brad if you decide you want to take up hunting again you are more than welcome to come down to my place any time. Jess congrats on a good hunt. Like there we have land owner permits here. If we all hunted both Archery and firearms we could get a combination of 21 bucks and 40 does. Thats alot of meat. but since Im the only one that hunts 2 is more than enough to last us for the year. Again congrats. John

Cool Beans I put mine in 2 Eureka Springs 1 Maintanance Day 1 Ft Collins Had a few meet and eats with WildHair (Lowell) but he meets and eats with every one so didnt count them cause if we all did it would take up the whole data base :rotf:

Some of the members here know that my Aunt Vikki was in a motorcycle accident back in April in Reno, Nevada where She lived. She was riding Her HD Heritage when she was hit by a tire that came across the center devider on the freeway. She passed away while I was in Ft. Collins from her injuries. She was a remarkable woman, She gave me my first motorcycle ride 45 yrs ago and I was hooked. She was 75 when She passed and had been riding for over 50 yrs. She was the first woman in Nevada to get a motorcycle license. She was a member of the Blue Knights in Reno and was a member of the Reno Ramblers M.C. She had many friends in the Motorcycle community in Reno, the state of Nevada and the State of California. Today they had her service at Sparks Marina. I wasnt able to attend but my Mom did. She said there were over 2000 people there and Hundreds of Motorcycle's if not over a 1000. She carried a metal flask on Her bike with water where ever She went. They took the flask and filled it with Her ashes and after the service today they took Her for a final Ride. Wish I could of went for that final ride with you. I will miss seeing you riding that purple electra glide with the white seat. But dont worry we will ride together again one day. Love Ya Dooder

Allen, Sharon and I are very sorry for your loss. You and Debbie made us feel right at home at the Eureka Springs Venture -In last year. It being our first experience with this great group of people, You and Debbie were great Host's. Our prayers are with you and the rest of the family. John and Sharon
