  1. Not sure if my last post went through, but just wanted to say that I agree with Lone Eagle, that I think we would have a larger turn out if the location was more convienent for everyone. Bill Santa Clarita, CA
  2. I like the idea of the West Coast, Central , and East Coast meets. If somebody is inclined to ride further and go to one of the other meets, then that is fine too. I think that it would probably help get more people to participate in each of the meets, because more people would be inclined to go if it was a little closer for them. I also know that it is hard for some people to get long periods of time off of work to attend something that they have to spend days riding to and from to get to. Just my 2 cents worth...and I expect change...LOL:rotfl: Bill Santa Clarita, CA
  3. I know that it has been a while since I was one, but do they still have a VENTURE RIDER WEST get togther anymore.....for people here on the WEST Coast ? Bill Santa Clarita
  4. Yeah, I think that I would pass on the "Dick" fingers too.....I heard that they are too salty :-)
  5. Hello SJ, I have 2005 Venture, and mine is pretty much stock. You can go searching on this sight for pluging the AIG and doing the jason mod. I have JUST done the jason mode and not changed the type of air filters or anything else to the bike, and I am getting 40 MPG on my bike, even if I get on it a bit. I have noticed that I can actually get 43-45 Mpg if I can actually keep it down around 55 MPH.....Come on...who can actually keep their bike down to 55 MPH anyways.....LOL Bill
  6. Which one did you get ?
  7. My Suggestion was meeting up at Half Moon Bay California, and then taking a ride through the redwoods. There are many different highways that could be taken, but I was also thinking of a loop that would include stopping at the famous biker friendly "Alice's Resturant". A Tentitive route could include leaving Half Moon Bay and taking Hwy 92 East to Hwy 35 (Skyline Blvd) which is a very nice ride through the redwoods and them taking that to the intersection of Hwy 35 and Hwy 84. That is where Alice's Resturant is located and we could stop for lunch and then head back out Hwy 84 West all the way to Hwy 1 and then pick that back up north to get us back to Half Moon Bay. This was just a suggestion on the route, but the area is very beautiful, and I have ridden through the redwoods and it was a very PEACEFUL Ride with gentle Sweepers throughout the ride. Looking forward to seeing everyone this year in San Luis obisbo. Bill Santa Clarita, CA.
