Gary,Not trying to bang my own drum but to answer the question I personally havnt used it BUT a member(He can chime in if he wants)had a flat on Christmas day 2 years ago and I had never met him but he had to get back to Houston and he used the list and saw my name and how close I was to where he was broke down,(Fredericksburg,Tx).Well I was by myself, as Debby had to be with her mom and I had to go back to work that evening, Anyway he called and asked if I knew where he could get his flat fixed..Christmas day..no chance of anybody so I went over and put in a bottle of ride on and it lasted him till he got back to Houston.....Sooo to make this long story short,YES it is a good thing and IF I ever need it Ill bet ANYBODY on here would do the same thing..But you already know that.. I know you well enough to know you would do the same thing..Best Roadside Assistance you can get!

Reminded me of a trip I took to the Grand Canyon and 3 Korean gals came up with a camera pointing,(they didnt speak english) Stupid me I took the camera and pointed for them to line up to get their picture made and they quit smiling and laughed and could only say"No No,Picture with you and scooter"..I did that and then pointed to it and asked if they wanted to sit on it..well no understand so I picked one up and sat her on the drivers seat..her feet would only touch the PASSENGER boards she was so short but the Smile on her face seemed to swallow the Grand Canyon!

Wise decision..That or E3S...I got in that position once and HAD to buy the Metz..It lasted 1700 miles and started throwing rubber..Never again. Be safe out there..If you need anything Ill help however I can.

Wayne, good info supplied..I never had formal training, just started local driving and somehow wound up over the road so I know nothing about the training courses but I think 6pak can answer those questions. Good luck in your career path and remember drive your truck the way you are comfortable, kinda like riding a MC. Drive to your abilities.

Wayne,Ive been driving 37 years. Dont know your age or if a family but just starting out it is a tough and lonely life with very little respect..what I mean by that is there may be 100 super good drivers but if 1 Guy messes up and cuts someone off or tailgates alot of people judge you by the other guys actions. Also more than likely you will start over the road and believe me shippers and receivers take advantage of you IE: you load and unload..you will quickly find out that you loose big time money unloading all day for maybe $70.00 then out of hours to actually drive and thats where your money is. I have been fortunate in the era I came up in as I had plenty of choices and always landed a good driving job. Currently in my opinion I drive for the best company out there BUT you have to have ALOT of experience and a very clean driving record. That is another thing...a clean driving record..if you dont have that you will most likely be turned away or get a pretty crappy driving job. Currently I am close to 4 million lifetime miles no accident or tickets....that has been hard to do but its possible..knock on wood..Good luck in whatever you decide to do and if you need any personal questions answered feel free to call me anytime. Tom

To each their own..ANYTHING that makes a deer more jittery is not for me. Deer do not run away, they run any direction so if you spook them they are totally unpredictable.I live in HIGH deer population. The best thing to do is keep your eyes on them.. if possible to slow down before you get there without disturbing them the better off you are.Bottom line IF you like them and think it works,go for it. Ill be more defensive and pay closer attention and pray like crazy they dont hit me or I hit them.

Cool deal Brother..Thats what we are here for..even us Wingnuts!

Dont know if there is a write up but easiest way is remove the seat, battery and battery box.now you have access to the top of the shock. It is very obvious looking under the bottom of bike which bolts to take off.Last one I did was about 45 minutes including BS ing. Very easy job.

One more thing..Without fail I would get the Baker hand wings that go under the mirrors..you will be shocked at how well they work to gt more airon you or totally block the air http://www.texascyclechrome.com/handwingsgl1800.aspx

Congrats ...If you buy the Hwy pegs go ahead an get the shortest arms you can..here is a link of what Im talking about http://www.texascyclechrome.com/miniarmforergoandergoii.aspx Also watch the accessories you buy and make SURE its for the Airbag model all of regular things will not work on airbag model, but available..Im not recommending above,I just buy there on occasion when in Houston..I rode 110 miles today, short but sweet ride..cant get enough of it..If I were not having a few back issues Id be putting some serious miles on this thing..also when going thru towns dont change to lower gears IF you dont want to,it will pull away with no problem and fast. Willalways love the RSV I had but everyone knows why I switched, some are OK with current but I love gadgets and Technology. Remember also the Speedo is dead on accurate on 2009/10 models. Pulling my Aluma trailer 65 MPH 125 miles,175 trl wgt 150 cargo wgt, 42 MPG..thats taking off easy braking in advance 2 up

IF you guys have a M&E Sunday on this side of Houston let me know..Id like to make it but this was too short for me. Looks like surgery is coming on my back so to heck with it,back isnt hurting but arm is so I can still ride a bit right now. DONT PLAN ANYTHING SPECIAL as It all depends how much nerve pain is in my arm in the morning. Tom
