I just looked at the Calendar and realized its only a little over 4 MONTHS till the International Rally. Man I need to get Loaded up,IM READY to go!! Looking at some of the threads I am getting excited about seeing alot of folks I havnt seen in years. Mel I know which one you are talking of. There are some good guys over there but I post to a minimum as you said after a few posts all He$$ breaks loose. If ever you need anything let me know as I now know a few of the "Good Guys "over there and know where to get some good deals..I just bought a set of Chrome rims,front and rear with new bearings seals Installed for $700.00.(Also Installed on my Wing) Same guy is going to "Tweak" my front suspension with a few goodies I want for little of nothing money wise!BTW, Unless I'm run off I will always be a member here.

We went up to Mt Scott and then to Meers for a burger..Nice place but the burger wasnt worth the long wait.. Was a great ride though!

You will love it when you get it fitted to you..I just rode a guys Wing and he had risers on the handlebars..Thats my next addition for sure,I thought mine was OK until I rode his!You will fing you will be using the cruise alot more as I have a time keeping mine under 80/90 and I cant afford no tickets! Enjoy it and like you IF the Venture ever comes out with an updated version I will buy one but Ill always keep the Wing.

Any of them.Wing Stuff has there brand $159 or so. I have the kuryakyn. All allows wheel removal as stated in above posts.

Actually you dont need to remove any part of a hitch or fender,2 ways,I lay it on its siode and then drop center stand(lay on left side) then undo 5 lugbolts and slide it out..the other way is jack it up a little and slide it out after removing 5 lug bolts..5 minute job.

You will enjoy it..I LOVE mine..some complaim about leg room,I have a friend 6ft 6 inches, and he is very comfortable on his..just a matter of getting the Hwy Pegs set to your likes.Its a good feeling to roll on the power from 25 mph to whatever in 5TH gear and instantly hit mega speeds.

Well we had a great turnout for an unofficial M&E..Had a snack at the DQ then went on a short ride thru LBJ Ranch (Free admission to his Ranch ( Lyndon Baines Johnson) all in all a nice day...BUT No 1joeranger...he was a little late and missed his meet and eat! BTW He called me at 330PM and is safe and in Blanco!

Hey Im not hard on AGGIES..they really have done significant studies that are very educational..Like the Frog Study.... An aggie took a frog for a project to disect and put him on the table looked at him and said, "JUMP FROG! the frog jumped 6 feet...He cut off 1 leg and looked at him and said "JUMP FROG...he jumped 4 feet...HUMMM he said ,he cut off another leg and looked and said JUMP FROG...he limped about 2 feet..He did the same with one of the 2 remaining legs and said JUMP FROG...he moved about 6 inches..He thought on it and cut one more off,the final leg. He said JUMP FROG....nothing happened..he thought on it awhile and said JUMP FROG..... Nothing at all happened.....He smiled big and said I have it figured out,frogs with no legs are DEAF!!!! WHAT A STUDY!

I use to like GM and Chrysler products and I own a 98 Dodge Cummins Diesel PU but I am not buying those brands anymore..But hey that is just me and my reasons are personal.That said you gotta buy what you like! Congrats on whatever you buy.

For those coming to Blanco to meet 1Joeranger the weather is OK here cloudy but sun is out..No drizzle or fog.Now there is a small patch of rain aroung Giddings Tx but looks to be moving on.Looks like GaryN will be in Blanco either at my house or DQ in Blanco around noon. This I guess we will call "The official,but not announced, meet and eat for 1Joeranger that just happened to come together meet and eat" That is the way these things happen sometimes! Good on all you guys! Tom

He installs for free if you go to his house on the weekend. He just wants you to call a week ahead. When you get ready to have it done I can meet you and we can go over there. Takes him about 35 minutes, no charge to install.
