So i got them sync'd now and still have the popping out the right exhaust but not as often. Is there such of thing as syncing until the popping is gone or does matter how many time you sync

So i take it no master carb.

Thanks for the input. I watched a video that u need to calibrate the master carb first then sync them all together. Is this correct? and which one is the master?

Im going to buy one I just wanted to ask which one is the preferred by you guys that to it all the time.

Sorry if this is in the wrong forum. I dont know if any of you have heard of Teamspeak3(TS3). Its a communication tool that is used in the online world. If you have a mic plugged in to your pc or an Android or Iphone you can communicate to anyone on the server. Here's how it works. Go here http://www.teamspeak.com/?page=downloads and download the 32 bit or the 64 bit CLIENT ONLY. Make sure the mirror 4netplayers is in the drop down box.(if you dont know what bit your pc is right click on my computer and click properties. It will tell you in the SYSTEM section. Once you have the client downloaded open it up. in the connection tab place these numbers in address=67.172.51.53 port=9987 this will take you to my TS3 server. I have added channels for our bikes. To move yourself to these channel just click and hold on your name and drop in to which channel you want to talk in. To talk to a member just press hold down the left CTRL button on your keyboard or on your smartphone press and hold the button on the screen and of course release when your done talking. I think this will be helpful for people that need to explain certain issues they are having to some one instead typing it. For example: I need help on a carb problem I can simply make a post on here like "Hey can someone help me with a carb problem on the 1999 Venture. I'm on TS3". or " Anyone go on any cool rides this week" Some one pops in the channel and the voice to voice conversation begins. Its like SKYPE with no videochat but you can have multiple people talking at once without paying for it. So you can have a group session with as many in any channel. Alot of corporations use it for conference meetings Give it a try and see what everyone thinks. Keep connected. Remember use these numbers in the connections tab 67.172.51.53 port 9987 and bookmark it within TS3. When you log in to the server you automatically go in to the public channel. Just switch to desired channel. If new channels are needed let me know. I just added a few to see if there was any interest. NOTE: This is not to take away from this site. Its a tool to use if a member is having an issue that may take more than a few lines to type then they can use this tool to chat back and forth without any phone fees. Especially overseas calls. Input welcome.

is it restricted to RS. My brother in law rides a Suzuki Boulevard and going to see if he can make the trip. And what amount of $ can I expect to pay for any maintenance just so I make sure I bring enough money

Well it runs good down the road. Its just during the shift points I mentioned. Im only an hr and 45 min from Oberlin so looks like a road trip on the 8th

what do they do at one of the maint days. Never attended one b4. Does someone set up shop and help u?

This started at the end of last summer on my '06 RSTD. Thinking it was needing new plugs I waited till this season. Well new plugs didnt fix it. Shifting from 2nd to 3rd and sometimes 4th to 5th I get this pop from the right side. And I think its both cylinders b/c its sounds like a double pop. Ive had this bike for 4 yrs and never carb sync'd could this be my issue. I read on these forums that dealers dont do it right either so wondering if I should do it my self. Im in eastern Ohio is there a maintenance day coming here soon

Did u use the color from the bike paint #'s or a paint close to it? I have a pearl white RSTD that I added a RSV trunk to and I'll doing the same thing.

You might want to try a truck stop. I'm a truck driver and they have different sizes of antennas if you want just fake ones. I would be interested in buying the cb if your selling. I would need everything to hook to my RSTD

Well I think I got it. Its mounted and now I'll go to a few body shops and see what the damage will be for them to paint it. I even added a 2nd brake light. I was reading about how to add flashers in another post so thats next

Same here. I feel like a well done steak. I wont even ride in the kinda of heat. Normally I dont ride above with 80+ degrees with high humidity. Just seams like alot of stress on any bike engine.

Is it a easy to add a air pump for the mono air shock on the RSTD? Should I get one from a RSV or is there an after market set up. Id just like the convenience of adding air on the fly rather than stopping at gas station to add air.

Here's how I did it. I have saddle rails so they're are hidden a little for being on a white bike. By the way what faring do you have on the front? Thats my next item to get. yes I thought of the backrest conversion and since the lights are self adhesive tape I stuck them along the front bottom. Your bike being a dark color they would hardly be noticed. I'll post pics later

OK started on the conversion. Everything going good so far and the pins came off easy. I decided if Im going to do this I doubt I will remove it so Im going to drill our the lock pin hole the same size as the other holes to have a little bigger bolt in the front mount. Ill probably remove the spools as well to make room for grab handles while Im at it and I think I can add them with out removing the saddles again by just opening the saddle lid. I do have a question about the helmet locks on the trunk bracket. I bought this trucnk bracket from ebay but didnt get keys for the locks. Any info on how to get keys? There is no #'s on the bracket to go by or do I need to get new locks. Slim chance Ill use them with the extra space the trunk will have for helmets but just asking. Tried my key and it doesn't work in the locks.
