  1. Always wanted to be there finally going to make it leavimg tuesday from tampa Florida, hope to see other riders there from Venture Riders. I will be on my Pearl White 2006 Tour Deluxe. God Luck to all PRNTTEK
  2. Alright I have been a member for awhile and learned many good things from the generosity of the good folks on this sight. I am looking for an intercom for my bike as I have a 06 RSTD it does not have such luxuries. Who can recommend a decent setup with out the High price I am finding on the web? Thanks for any suggestions. I would like to get this now as our good rideing season is fast approaching. PRNTTEK Riverview Florida
  3. When we bought the 06 RSTD my wife also complained about the rear seat we bought a BUTTBUFFER with a sheep skin cover now she is much more comfortable. I had the buffer built into my seat so it looks stock but it is also much better. We started out with c-50 also I put the Suzuki Gel seats on that and it was much better but with this bike we are much more happy with the room and the ride
  4. I bought new my 2006 RSTD and it is not any noisier than my suzuki c50 and it is alot more bike. I kinda of wish that I could hear this noise so I would know what I am missing. Just had my 8k check up new plugs and carbs synced etc. it sure runs better. Guess I am lucky I have had no real problems with this bike, that weren't done by me (I.E. KN filters and road king exhaust). But the info I got from this group about plugging up those lines took care of that. Thanks
  5. Well I took the easy way and pluged the AIS ports front and rear and it did the trick no more popping or backfires , I reconnected the hoses still looks factory so I guess when I go in for my maintenance they won't be able to tell. Thanks for so many replies. Do I need to have the carbs sinked up as it seems to run just fine?
  6. Thanks to all for the replys I guess that I can take it to a good shop And have the carbs adjusted, Any one know a good place in Tampa Florida or near by. I sure don't want burnt valves and yes my bike is still under warranty and I dont want to plug any hoses if there is a correct way to do this.
  7. I have a 2006 RSTD all I have changed on it is the air filters to (K&N) and I put a set of road king exhaust on it I like the way it sounds now. But when I throttle down to change gears I get a loud Pop most of the time but not always. Now I have read that with these changes I do not need to modify the carbs but why am I getting the backfire? Thanks for the help. PRNTTEK
