We did a trip a year ago West (thru St. Louis....worked our way thru Iowa, Nebraska...to Yellowstone, then up to Saskatchewan - 6,000 miles). We did about 60% camping (tent). To keep costs down for our next trip we just picked up a TimeOut from a member near here. Whether it is on one trip or a couple, it will pay for itself in saving us on hotels. Starting the bike moves the oil around, lubricates the cylinders and moves gas thru the carbs. Getting the pipes hot burns off any condensation

I leave mine in the bike and put a tender on it once in a while. If the temperature gets above freezing I start the bike and run it until the pipes get hot then shut it down. I store mine on the lift adapter with legs.

No...no news of a new model. One of the lead stories on the news was about a tribute ride to collect money and toys for military children in the name of slain soldiers Nathan Cirillo and Patrice Vincent. There was a vehicle towing a Harley but one of the two bikes following was a Venture. I couldn't find the video online but a link to the story is https://ca.newshub.org/charity-convoy-collects-toys-name-fallen-soldiers-cirillo-vincent-6097653.html The ride started at CFB Trenton east of Toronto and headed to a Royal Canadian Legion branch in Hamilton. Cirillo was gunned down while standing guard at the National War Memorial. His assailant was later killed during a gunfight on nearby Parliament Hill. Vincent was run over near Montreal in what police have said was a deliberate act by someone with jihadist sympathies. Organizer of the drive is Randy Young. Was the rider of the RSV from here?

I hope a second doctor can give you a second opinion and find something the original doctor missed. They do make mistakes and miss things.

Glad you got an ENT that was able to diagnose your condition. I have a friend at work who had problems five years ago and after a couple biopsies on his brain still has no answers. Originally he was told he had six months to live. I can't imagine what he has gone thru the past five years. Thankfully he was able to come back to work as his symptoms stabilized. In your case, hope they find your leak and can plug it without being too invasive. As mentioned, you have friends here including those like me who have never met you.

If I click on Community/Friends & Contacts, then click on a member that is a friend.... I get the following tabs : Member name/About Me/Friends; and below that there is : All/Member name of friend/Friends/Photos If I click on "All" - it shows posts that I've made in any thread => shouldn't this be their posts? Clicking on the member name of my friend - shows their posts Clicking on "Friends" - shows me all my posts again => shouldn't this list their friends? Clicking on "Photos" - gives me "no recent activity" Another strange thing... From top right of window, if I click on "My Profile"...it defaults to "My Activity"/"All"... and shows me a couple of my posts, then shows posts in threads from other members (including threads I hadn't posted to) => shouldn't this be my posts and PM's ? If I click on my username, it shows my posts Clicking on "Friends" - shows activity of people in my friends list => this seems to work Am I confused?

If it were me...I'd fix it now or over the winter so that in the spring all you do is start it up and ride.

I have a 32gb card in mine. Not sure if a 64gb would work.

Don... are you planning a Maintenance Day in 2015? I know it is still 2014 and a long way to Spring...but are you thinking of doing Maintenance Day in 2015? You probably haven't worked out your personal calendar for next year...

The site is working so that is the important thing. Take your time with the "tweaks".

Why is it that there seem to be two welcome messages? "Well we have a new member" and "Another user registered!" If there is a thread when a new user signs up and another when they become a full member....think we only need to know when the new user signs up, not when they pay their membership. I'd still like to see in the thread title the State/Province they are from. Makes it easier to welcome locals to the site.

Came up in another thread....but any old posts that have links to ads the links won't work. Links to old threads or read only section will work.
