GE H7616. Far brighter replacement bulbs for the stock ones with simple change. Far brighter than the Silver Star Ultra headlight I have. -
Good choice on calling it a day. Better to take shelter at home rather than spoil a good first long ride because of weather.

Just a suggestion but a few things to consider ... If it is a used RSV you were looking at it might just need some "customizing" to fit you. Maybe different handle bars, Butt Butler mod (seat narrowed), shocks/forks set at a different pressure. I find if the steering is loose it makes a difference in handling and only takes a few minutes to "fix". Nothing wrong with the RSTD. If you want more fairing, more comfortable seating for the passenger, more storage... the RSV is the way to go.

Other than gold and silver being the same as dirt..... aren't we already there? We've got governments that have run up national debts and taxes to the point where we can't pay any more. European countries are failing, currency is up and down like a toilet seat, job market is in the dumpster.... you sure we aren't already there?

If I see a subject that interests me or affects me I'll post something usually. I'll read some of the 1st Gen threads just to see how they try to get a bike made in the previous millenium to go as fast as a 2nd Gen. Oh... and some times I just like to stir the pot (regarding 1st/2nd Gens) I've enjoyed the "off limits" discussions but realize that Freebird is right that they can turn ugly and then you get members who dislike each other. Keep it clean and avoid certain subjects. Some people are just on here for the entertainment and tech articles.

Glad your daughter is safe and hope the cops picked up the guy that drove away. As for 4x4's and Jeeps.... don't you know they can drive thru anything? They don't realize that although they can start moving quicker than a 2 wheel drive.... they take just as long to stop on ice. False sense of security.
