  1. Doesn't ice cream count as a major food group? So many flavours !
  2. Gone are the days when you'd go to a gas station and have an attendant pump your gas, clean your windows and check your oil. Putting "customer first" does seem to be a thing of the past in most retail stores.
  3. They are great about shipping them out promptly. In Canada I received mine in less than 2 weeks. Only issue you might have is Customs holding it up.

  5. Brightest sealed beams I've seen are what I'm running - GE H7616 http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=7236 http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=73060
  6. How much does a Hannigan conversion cost?
  7. If Jerry is reading the posts in this thread.... I purchased your dvd and would like to take the training session. If the International organizers agree and if you are available, I'm sure a number of members would be interested in taking the course if it is offered at the International.
  8. Nice looking bike !
  9. It was easy enough to opt out by going to the link I posted. If it makes a few bucks for the site I'm fine with it... and for those that don't want to see the links, all they have to do is go to the link and click on the button.
  10. Try this link - http://www.viglink.com/support/optout I had links showing up on mine as well on VR.org and after clicking on "disable" they disappeared.

  12. There is a rubber piece stuck to the bottom of the trunk. Peel it off and move it back to where the trunk sits on the mount.
  13. Should have stocked up on Twinkies !
  14. At least they have the antenna's on the right side in the pictures ! Years ago a Chinese company cloned a Toyota van... and nothing could be done about it (Toyota has trademarked absolutely every single part of vehicles since) since copywrite laws in China are very lax. Ask Apple and any number of hardware manufacturers. Interesting that they are calling it a Royal Star Venture... but they don't mention Yamaha anywhere. I'd say it is a copy.
  15. My backspace works fine too.... but if I hit ALT and left arrow it goes back a page. Hitting ALT and right arrow takes me back to what I was typing.... and don't lose anything.
  16. Despite carbs (which I don't mind) and a cassette deck (I never use).... definitely would !

  18. Your post was well said !
  19. Miles.... what kind of pi do you like? Blueberry? Apple?... etc . And with all the miles you've ridden.... where is the best place you've found for pi ?
  20. I don't see the picture/link
  21. Speedy recovery !
  22. Couldn't resist..... YES.... 2nd Gen's are better !
  23. I always find it better to call whoever you "offended" before they find out. Honest mistake (but not by the CPA) is best to be honest about. One thing to consider... you probably are not the only one the CPA firm did this to. Consider this when talking to them and making demands. If you notify the State (and possibly Federal) tax office, they will ask you who prepared your taxes and might want to review every tax document prepared by them for ALL their clients. Imagine how much that will cost them and possibly loss of status (or jail time). You could suggest to them that they need to compensate you for the aggravation (pay the back taxes depending on how much they are) or you'll put in a complaint to the State and Federal tax office, Better Business Bureau, make it very public that they falsified accounts. Right now, you are in control and the CPA firm should be shaking in their boots about how you are going to proceed with this.
  24. Makes it a challenge !
  25. CD's don't have the sound range that vinyl did so other than the ocassional "pop" they sound better. Some people are saying that vinyl is making a comeback... so all the youngsters are going to think it's the next best thing ! I also have a usb turn table and keep meaning to transfer my albums to the computer. Might be a good job to do on a cold snowy weekend like we are about to have. One of my favourite albums is a half-mastered audiophile release of the Supertramp "Crime of the Century" album.
