I've looked at numerous solutions to this same question. Looks like your best option would be to look for aftermarket bars. I couldn't find a set of risers that would work for the same reason you stated. I solved most of my problems with a new Mustang seat which moved me a bit closer to the bars but not enough to crunch the boys. Good luck with locating the bars to make ya comfortable. Welcome to Ventureriders and looking forward hearing from you more. BTW, becoming a supporting member gets you into tons of tech info which just can't be bought paper wise for the 12.00 subscription. God Bless. Mike

Between the hutch and the larger chair and upper left of the front kitchen table chair. 2 pointy ears... German Shepard? Min Pin?

OK, so I dropped the ball with monster wires . I actually didn't put them in my walls but when the job was done I'd wished I had gone with a heavier wire hence was told Monster by others. So with that in mind I still say a kegerator and card table, I noticed no one argued THAT point

Doing it right means to use higher quality materials from the start to prepare for the inevitable upgrade later. Trust me on this, I know... Here's a place to start http://www.monstercable.com/ while doing the wiring install dimmer switches for all lights, you'll appreciate the mood settings the next time your saddled up next to your main squeeze. From there I'll give you another site to seriously consider... http://www.mancavesite.org/ give special attention to the card tables and Kegerators. good luck with the remodel. God Bless. mike

Very Nice Deb. Gonna love that bike. One thing if I remember correctly is the oil filter is a PITA to change w/o the filter relocation kit. Not sure and could be wrong. I know theres lots of different kits available for it though. Looking forward to seeing it in person. Might want to let Dane borrow it for the IB ride with that windshield lol. God Bless. Mike

Called local yammy shop, 17.00 a piece.

Now THIS is a target. Will mascot on bike and one of us standing close by work? Good choice
-
OK, for the good deeds he's done, AND working behind the walls AND a bike rider, I'll give 2 thumbs up on this one . Good job. Name your target.

I understand what your saying, but pretty much any parking lot for a prison has razor wire visible (I've worked at 7 so far lol) and you'd be surprised how many officers would actually have pic taken if given the reason for it. Were not that unapproachable Can't believe I used THAT smilie lol:rotf:

Appreciate the fine pics of a Dep Sheriff allowing pics and all but would be nice if he had been in uniform and working there in same. Guess I'm looking for the connection between the 2. I'll leave it up to folks here though. God Bless. Mike

As was said before, the wind really did make a difference but they have several windshields for it now. The power will push you back in your seat if you hop on it. The handling surpasses the RSTD by leaps and bounds. It didn't feel like steering a pile of rocks at slow speed. It had plenty of storage space, cruise, the stereo could easily be heard at higher speeds. When I was looking at them they had a 5 year guarantee on it but I wasn't ready to buy then. They do have a 2 year one but speaking to the mechanic I always go to at VanWall motorsports in Perry, Iowa (shameless plug for them because they deserve it) he informed me he's had so few in for repairs, he couldn't give me an example of something to look for. Guess you'll see for yourself when you go for a test spin. Oh yea, the chroming is above par and looks great. I love the tail light because it reminds me of an old Lincoln emblem

My next steed will be a Cross country. I love that bike and since they came out with a better windshield (something I'll have to order) the buffeting will stop. I rode one last summer and loved it. Wife has already been forewarned. I get some eye rolling but she knows it will happen ... one day

You get a CO in uniform with his bike, you and yours, and the 1st brews on me:beersign: for both of ya
-
Perhaps if you were to get one of those Hooters girls with the bunny ears in picture instead, I might overlook having a Corrections Officer
-
Well, not many minimum prisons have razor wire that i know of, but if it does, it's all good.
-
Oh were there, just have to time it right
-
Well, actually that was my next target... sure blew that out of the water. Since I work in a state prison, lets go with a picture of you, bike, and in front of a razor wired fenced state pen and a correctional officer by your side. God Bless. Mike

Hey Rocket, I got you phone call message but had to punch the clock so I couldn't respond. I'm not sure if I'll be making it out there this year or not. Taking a week off the end of May to ride an Iron butt with some friends. If I remember right there's something else going on that week too of Cody but I'm drawing a blank. I suppose I should ask my bride to remind me again lol. If I can get time off work and can get out of whatever it is she has planned I'd love to come out to Cody and challenge that owl guy in a chili cook off. Russ, if bikes in good shape then I'm sure I'll find a good buyer for it and a good price to match. I'm not looking to make a killing on it, just help pay for above described trip. Too many good folks on here. Take care guys and God Bless P.S. Russ, you know if your interested in the Royale, I'll make an exception on price for you... figured 20 years from now bike would still have no more then 200 miles on it then from the time you bought it
-
I'm not even sure if I'll keep it or sell it. I just know theres lots of folks on here that if bike is in as good a shape as he claims and I can get it for a good price I'll put it in classifieds for a little extra to help with gas/food/lodging on my iron butt ride in May.

Going to pick it up on Sunday (pending ride evaluation that is) but even if there's a problem with that I could sell the plastic on it which he says is in great shape. Thanks for the response
