  1. I buy and sell numerous items on Ebay and my philosphy is no bidding (unless dire straits) with rating of body temp or above 98.6. Just my opinion. Ride safe and God bless. mike
  2. Being a Canadian citizen, theres no problem at all with you flying your flag especially with Canadian plates. Where the problem comes in or at least offense is taken is when your in the US and you fly the US flag below yours. Etiquette???? A lot of the problems have occured when others flags are crammed down our throats and they live here (Flying their countries flag above ours) not the traveling biker/tourist. But if you'd like to display our US flag also, I'd be more then happy to send one your way to display both if you have another pole. I for one appreciate your thoughtfulness in considering this dilemma. Now to decide which flag goes to which side... normally your own country would be on the displayed left (looking at it from the front of a room in the audience or speakers right looking into audience) but considering your on a scooter I don't think it would make much difference or at least I'm not sure on that one. Also, one other thing to consider is the height of each flag, if you want to be completely politically correct, (and keep some folks happy) both would be the same size and height. Guess my 14 years presenting our colors at funerals, parades, ceremonies, change of leaderships etc... has me researching these things from time to time. If others have more info I'm not aware of, I would love to hear it also. Whatever you do, ride safe and keep God as a passenger. Mike P.S. If your down our way in Iowa, feel free to stop by for a meal and ride.

    P I P

Hey, I take complete and total offense to the "noise" your referring to. I like to think of it as community bonding on a higher level of non-silence. But I am totally distraught that I can't attend this year to assist in the non-silence. But wait till next year, I will persevere!! Gonna miss the folks up there and if theres anybody who hasn't attended a PIP and contemplating it... DO GO. It's a blast and you won't find friendlier folks... even Tessa muahahaha. Ride safe everybody so you can get there and enjoy the company and Non-silence. God bless. Mike
  6. Now THAT is EXCELLENT. Very nice job. Giving me a few ideas now. See what you started? Ride safe, God Bless. Mike
  7. Making appt tomm. Figured they could work on it while I'm in Alaska. Won't lose riding time that way. Thanks Don. Mike
  8. Seems after riding awhile and I come to a stop, the engines ideling high (without a tach it's hard to tell but from experience) it seems to be at approx 3k. It will drop down after sitting a minute or so or when it's still cold (and yes the choke is completely in). Bikes still under warrantee so is this something I should have them fix or even worth the time being a normal thing? Thanks, Ride safe and God Bless. Mike
  9. Forget the pipes, keep my kids for a week, neighbor will be asking for mercy in 2-3 days muahahaha.
  10. I like it.. now the question is... HOW MUCH? lol Been thinking of getting one but held off. Ride safe and GOD BLESS. Mike
  11. I rode one about a month ago with the wife. She DOES NOT LIKE at all. Says she didn't like the leg positioning and comfort. I didn't like the handeling, felt like I was floating rather then controlling the bike. But then again I'm not used to having a full fairing either. Would rather have an RSTD with updated amenities.
  12. Perhaps a poll would be in order??? Any of the above sounds great.
  13. Thanks for the response. I was a little worried. Mike
  14. I changed out my stock air filters today with K&N's. When I took off the right side (looking at bike from front I found about 1/2 teaspoon of oil in rubber hose leading to filter case. Is this normal or should I be looking for dealer? Thanks, Ride safe and God Bless. Mike
  15. Flanders response to email. Pretty quick too. Looks like I'll be ordering a new set and doing a winter upgrade. Next thing to look up is best way to swap them out. Got to be here somewhere in Tech info... "Mike You will be adding only 2” of pull back and can probably keep the stock cables." John Flanders Company 340 S Fair Oaks Ave Pasadena CA 91105-2540
  16. Actually that was my intent. guess I didn't come across as I wanted to. Trying the cheaper route first. I actually don't mind the stock seat so the handlebars would be my first choice. If that fails then I'll try the seat. Whichever I go with, I might end up with one or the other to resell but I got to do something. The PITA ..er.. neck gets old after awhile. But Thanks for responding. Ride safe and god Bless. mike
  17. Just emailed Flanders Co. asking if wires/cables will need to be altered or changed. Awaiting response. Cost of new handlebar is 146.95 plus shipping I'm sure. I also have the burning in the back of the neck followed by pain in the arms, mostly right. So gonna try this AND the mustang seat if that don't do the trick, if not then who knows. That new Victory might be in the Corral next. Ride safe and God bless
  18. Gawd I wish we could make it to this one. JoDee and I would love to but I'll be in Alaska with my mom starting on the 27th of Aug- Sept 4th. Would rather be there to be honest but since the cruise ship is calling my name I'll respond. Hope everyone has a great time and makes friendships like I continue to have with people I met at last years. ride safe everyone and I expect to see pictures of this years... In fact please make a life size poster of joDee and I and stragically place in photo op's to make it look like we were there Ride safe everyone and God Bless. Mike
  19. 115 maxed and nothing left of throttle with speedohealer. 2005 RSTD, full shield and slip ons.
  20. I put a speedohealer on my 05 RSTD last year and have set cruise several times at 85 just to make sure I can (Can't come up with a better reason than that) They do help tremendously, especially in radar traps when you need to acknowledge that Yep, I was speeding and nope theres isn't a fire.
  21. Interested in the HW passenger pegs but don't see the ad??? Please let me know where it is. Ride safe and God Bless. Mike
  22. So actually that set might work fine. Since my wife's out of town the pictures out of the question... come to think of it... even if she WAS in town, I'd have a better shot of getting pregnant. Now to find chrome passenger running boards that don't look anemic when folded up. Ride safe, God Bless. Mike
  23. Where did all that info come from???? I typed in passenger highway pegs, passenger pegs, and a couple other things and got nothing like you sent for info. Sorry, guess I should've dug deeper. Ride safe and God Bless. Mike
  24. Looking to buy a set of highway pegs for my wife on back of my 05 RSTD. Anybody know if such a beast exists? Going for a ride to JP Cycle this afternoon when friend can escape work and need info to bring along. Thanks, God Bless and ride safe. Mike
  25. Ankeny, Iowa is about 50 miles away, I would have been more then happy to lend a hand whether it be trailer and save you some money on motel or bring a good friend of mine along who's excellent with motors. Ride safe and god Bless. Mike
