You'll love the RSTD. You can make it as comfortable and convenient as a Venture but detach everything and ride it as a cruiser. Best of both worlds. As for 8K , I think you got a good price on your baby. There's a meet and eat in Indiana end of this month. Ought to go and meet some of the folks from here. You'll never meet a better group of riders. Would love to see how you modified your trailer. Seems that it had to be a chore to get that balancing act together to become functional and safe. Kudos. I do like the layout and if you got it balanced SWEET. God Bless. Mike

Lets see, how is the weather effecting me.../?? Lost the top 5 rows of shingles on east side of house yesterday due to wind, got water seeping in already due to gutter blowing off. Water softener is acting up and had to bypass it so we could shower w/o feeling like were bathing in the ocean. Hot water heater is for some reason plugging up (we have one of those on demand systems where you need a certain amount of pressure or it won't run) I guess the last couple were'nt weather related but I just had to throw them in for spectaculariam effect. Looks like I got homework to do. I hate winter.

Were possibly looking at 8-16 inches of snow in the forecast tomm-Sun. I'll take your rain ANYTIME over that.

Sons bike hit my rear 2nd gen RSTD and broke the red reflector. Anybody have one for sale? Hate to even think what yamaha would charge. Thanks. God Bless and be safe. mike

I do like the paint job, what kind of car tote is that? Did the paint adhere well or did you have problems "making it stick" The car tote I have is a yard sale special and eventually I'll be doing something different. Wish you lived closer, i'd supply the beer and let you have fun painting mine Sure gives me lots of ideas. Ever think of adding a few LED lights mid stream on the tongue or on rack? Can that axle be moved forward via new weld or bolting differently??? Would hate to see all that beautiful work be dismantled or for naught. Please don't think were being disrespectful or negative but I have the same trailer and I know when I load it wrong I feel it.... BAD... Be safe. Mike

Let alone once items are packed on rack.... Might give that one some serious consideration. Very nice job though and you do have the Ultimate fastest colored bike out there. Heck, so fast the colors have separated into 2 tone...

This will be interesting to see how it turns out. I just installed a Dunlop 404 rear on the front of my RSTD but did not reverse it. Took it for a ride today but being the wind was blowing between 30-45 mph I could'nt get an accurate feel for it. I will say one thing, they needed to put counter weights on my front rim which I've never had B4... God bless. Mike Be SAFE

I love this hitch. Detach from receiver and you cant see it which works great for the clean look of an RSTD. BTW I have a Harbor Freight trailer and Sears Car tote.. exactly as you described to pull.
