Modulator 2nd Gen Headlight...
Mikealiasmike replied to frogmaster's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
Here's what I have. http://www.jpcycles.com/product/310-450 I also have to tail light that blinks 3 times, holds on the repeats. Get lots of positive comments about being seen. Hope this helps. God Bless. mike -
Oh yea, to add to my lovely week of weather, I think I will summerize everything thats happened. Ice storm, no power 3 days and a piece, water heater died, now a blizzard adding approx 2-4' drifts on top of an already 3-5' drifts in places and ice sandwiched in between. And the icing on the cake.... Furnace quit working about 13:00 today and no service personnel will attempt to come out in this weather... I think that about sums it up. Opps forgot, missed several days of work too. I need a vacation. Photos to follow in morning.

We are now in a blizzard. so far drifts 2-3 foot and counting AGAIN. Not supposed to stop till midnight. Oh boy, all this snow will no doubt hold spring from coming early and in return slow the date for first bike ride. Gee, never knew I'd moved to the Artic. Hey Gore, I got your global warming.

You know, I never thought of that. Guess working for the government makes a person think it's just easier to do it yourself then to try and get through all the red tape. Gonna check on this and see if it's something they can do for nothing or what the cost will be. Considering the pole is probably as old or if not older then I am it might work.... Thanks and God Bless.

I SOOOOO HATE YOU, Wanna beer? But I still hate you.

And if your looking for sympathy from me please feel free to look it up in your Funk and Wagnalls. You know what words to look between . Update on forecast for us, More freezing rain, wind and snow. Oh gee, wonder if I could sleep in my undies on top of a blanket with a fan slowly spinning.... This time perhaps the house will get to the freezing point and not just 40. Did I mention I hate winter?

Might not have to prune that tree but I have a cedar tree out front that I love that is coming down come hel* or high water. It was the one that yanked the wire off the side of the house grrrrrrrrrrrr. Now lights blinking again, NOt AGAIN???? 3rd pic shows wife with hand close to wire but actually shes about 20' away. The magic of illusion.

3 days plus with no power, luckily had propane heaters in mancave. Missed 2 days of work, electric company tells me we'll get someone out there to check it out. Well, since power line was yanked from my house above the mast I highly doubt them getting power to poles (which I might add we had numerous catch fire, blow up transformers like fireworks on the 4th of July etc...) is going to put power in my home. Had to chase down a crew working down the street from me to tell them it was pulled from house and not from power coming alone. All I can say is !!!!!Enough snow, Enough ice, Enough cold JUST ENOUGH ALREADY!!!!!!

Thanks for the responses. Will give it a look.

I have a 1989 Chevy 1500 4x4 pickup. It needs an engine. What years engines will fit? Will a 305 or other bolt right in? Thanks and God Bless. Mike

I have a couple plumbing questions that most everyday people like myself would be stumped. So rather then tie up the site could someone PM me who does it for a living or has LOTS of experience? Thanks and God Bless. Mike

Oh yea.... I might have ommited something when I said Lowell tried to get a screw lined up properly, I might have... mind you I said MIGHT have had a beer in my hand while watching but then again I more then likely had the manual out to assist in the proper turning and alignment of screw. You make the call. BTW, anybody know who the person on the right is in this picture?????????????
-
Yes it was. Seems if a person has a bolt they can't get out and someone has a try on it that "Your standing around with your thumb..." somewhere so I received the prestigious award. But I'm making a backing for it with certification for all who have gotten it or WILL. Oh yes, my name will be first, but it will be passed on. I would give it back to Russ but since no one could really work on his bike in the back of a pickup I guess it should go to the next. I'll be posting when I've got it ready to go and will send it to someone who deserves it as much as I did. (subliminal message inserted here to Russ... I sooooo owe you for this one and I will not be deterred)

I can't think of a better reason then this. Would love to have a set up like that. But I do want to add that I haven't seen a posting from any of the 3 owners of these bikes so far.

Craig, from what I've been told on here the badges are double sided tape and come off with fishing line pulled behind it. I plan on taking mine off also when I get tank detailed. Mike

As Russ stated in Cody, "What happens in Cody stays in Cody" but please allow a picture to speak a thousand words

Russ, I can't agree more empahtically. That Loweel is bad business and if it were my son I'd try and keep him around good influences like us. :2143::2143: Mike

UTAdventure and Gunboat, Thanks a million for checking in. Always nice to know everybody made it home so far. As for Lowell, I haven't heard from him yet but he's one person that can pop up anywhere. I think we covered most our bases. If we missed anybody and someone wants to chirp up feel free please. Thanks to everyone who attended the rally and made this one of the best i've ever been to and I've seen my share. God Bless. Mike
