  1. Thanks Don, Yes Sir its there..... By the way do you know the meaning of "rest"..... You do know you have the right to rest once in awhile.... I know stop picking on you....But you need to rest....... Thanks Don for everything you do for us ........ God Bless P.S. you have our full support on your decision on the paid subscriptions Buddy
  2. Peg & I took the First gen to Lawton to ride around and eat out, after awhile our rears were hurting big time. Stopped by Wal-mart and bought the beads for a car seat for around $8.00 lay it on the seat and it was a perfect fit what was left over I just slide it under the trunk area. We noticed a big difference we could get air to our rears and it help remove the pressure off the legs, and it made the seat feel like a new one....I recommend the beads too.....I going to modifle the beads for the RSV on our trip next week So it might help Peg out some..... As for the Air Hawk I never used one but i might buy one for Peg if I knew it would help her back Buddy
  3. I never owned an Corbin untill I took the RSV. First time I sat on it was dang this thing is hard, dont know if I'd like this or not. But after awhile riding it home I noticed my back was not hurting and when I stoped to fuel up, I also notice I had no problem getting off the seat either, my body dint feel like it was tired out. Acourse my wife does not like it , Too hard for her and with her back I will have to make some adjustments. But for me its great........ Buddy
  4. Linda must be out of the house right now:buttkick: Looking forward to seeing all your toys Bill. Buddy
  5. If its like my camaro & monti carlo you will have to reprogram the system by using code numbers using the am/fm radio if not it will need to go to the dealer.... some units need constant power to keep the memory going if power is lost the system will shut down untill it is reprogrammed. We use power pack with cords by the way of the cigarette lighter so when the battery is removed the system still has power to the computer systems Buddy
  6. Tornado Alley in full swing - Tornado watches yesterday, today as well. Wind is really up, grass to wet to mow. Humming birds are back Yep its summer time again.......
  7. Wait till we get up there Bill, Roadkill & I will run blockers while you go shopping:whistling: I'll bring the salt too....
  8. Guess I have it made.... Peg helped her Dad rebuild cars. And she helped me rebuild the motor in our race car. So when I ask her to check the oil level I have no worries..... But when she's not around I use a 2X4 to check, also to help change the oil... Buddy
  9. Sounds like it, trying to rain here at the house..... and yes it was hot the other day close to 100F in the shop with no air sure was hot for being april. Wonder what July & Aug is going to be?
  10. I was told to install the belly pan on the Wing and that would remove a lot of the wind problem.? That is one thing I did notice about the RSV & Wing, RSV catches less wind. Took the Venture up on Mt. Scott in Medicine Park last month and I was having to fight the Wind too. Needless to say I was glad when I made it home!! See you soon Bro.. 14 days and counting Buddy
  11. Bill, If so do you want the same committee? for the Rally.. You got me 100%....
  12. I talked to my Son tonight, He's heading out to boot camp:pushups: in San Diego Ca. on May 4. I'm so proud of him yet I'm scared as well - being a Father. He said he wanted to go in the Marines. So I gave him my full support:happy34:. He was kinda shock that I backed him on his decision. Told him I wanted to go in when I was 18 but my football days ruin that idea - knees. So now my Son is going to serve our Country. Sorry this is not about motorcycles, Just wanted to tell everyone how proud I am of my Son...... Buddy Father of a U.S. Marine
  13. I did my first oil change on the RSV yesterday. Went with Mobil 1 for motorcycles. First thing I noticed was smoother shifting between gears sure was a big change. And I really gave the oil a test yesterday too,my Mom forgot her Meds when she came down Saturday. So I went to her house 80mi away, doing 85-90mph most of the way up and back. And the RSV ran perfect up & back and no problem with the oil either....The motor seemed to run smoother too?...... Buddy
  14. Preventive maintenance keeps this from happening. Hey Skid did you have any seat left after you puckered up:yikes:
  15. Gold Wing 742 mi RSV 712mi Gold Wing in one day to Springfield Mo. and back home 742mi. RSV first ride was 345mi home after trade. But just did 712mi to Kansas and back home, The RSV was awesome.. One of these days when I get a chance I'm going to break the 1,000mi mark in one day... Buddy
  16. Dan hope you get to feeling better real soon. I been there as well, playing Archie Bunker on the throne and saying Ralph into the trash can all at the same time. that does not feel good at all. Buddy
  17. AMEN......
  18. Oh come on Dan you can still ride it Give it a try. Don't be scared the ground will stop your fall:whistling: Buddy
  19. Same here looking forward to seeing everyone. And see how much Chrome Roadkill added to the Wing. From what I hear Bill, Roadkill gonna give you race on which Wing looks prettier - Chrome . Guess we need to a judge off to see which Wing is the best? Bill Tell Linda Peg is looking forward to seeing her horse, but beware Peg has a way with animals they tend to get spoilt when Peg is around. Buddy

    83 wow

Yep the 83 is the fastest stock Venture made. I own one and keeping it too.... I ride the Second Gen. for comfort and long distance and the First Gen. to make the GL1500 & Harley's mad with Evey. P.S. 83's will pull the front tire off the ground in first & second gear. I don't do it anymore with Peg riding she hits real hard .... Buddy
  21. Trailer I built - Harbor Freight trailer with aluminum tool box weight in around 150lbs? and with fully loaded ice chest and luggage maybe around 300lbs. My First Gen. pulled it, as if the trailer was empty. No problems what so ever
  22. First Gen. weight in around 890lbs or so? should be no trouble for a trailer to carry it.
  23. Dont worry you'll find your bolts:think: once your other set comes in..
  24. Happy Easter to every one in your family Cindy. We are thankful for having a loving God That gave his Only Begotten Son Jesus to pay for our sins,Then raising Jesus from Hell freeing us from our sins.... Happy Easter:innocent: God Bless to every one Buddy
