When you do the needle brg you will find a lip on the backside making it a pain to knock out once you do get it out and before installing the new brg put two notches across from each other in the lip so next time around you can use a punch or screwdriver to drive it out

That could explain Eck & Bob behavior at the TN meet in May

I read the engine specs and photos and indeed this is the from Pontiac solstice & Saturn series so who ever buys one gonna get a rush !!! Bullet proof motors like my Pontiac Solstice except mine has the 2.0 Ecotec Turbo Do note these engines require Syn.oil 5w30 and super unleaded fuel due to the engine design! Mine Came out of mfg with Mobil One Talking about these motors is making me want to drive the Solstice Now lol

I always gravity bleed the system open res.cap open bleeder and let gravity do the rest course make sure the system has plenty of brake fluid never failed me yet

OK When coming to a stop I use the rear brake slightly more than front due to fact I come up on oil antifreeze trans fluid etc so my front brake doesn't slide on me course I avoid it best I can antifreeze is worse than motor oil I always use my left leg to balance the bike so by the time I come to a stop my leg is already there ready to handle the weight then my right leg right behind it to help balance There are times that I get to comfy or over confident and the bike will let me know In a heart beat don't do that course I dropped my bike numerous times in the past no damage done as I was not moving did couple times with Peg because I was not giving myself time to balance myself Biggest thing I noticed with this Venture is come to a sloooow and steady stop give yourself plenty of time to balance your weight ! This is no Gold Wing !

Then I realized I need to put my feet down wow what big difference being married for so long I tired putting my foot down with Peg once and that dint turn out too good either lol Ok I come to a slow stop using my left leg to balance bike all is good but there are times I stop to quick and I get off balance real quick that's when my butt pucker kicks in there's times I scare Peg so bad that she has to be pealed off the seat I did a no no one time I was day dreaming and came up on a red light and hit the brakes hard the bike did great but I slide and did the famous tank slap needles to say that cured my day dreaming

Home computer crashed some time back laptop doesn't handle DVD/CD our work computers not allowed due to security reasons so it's kinda hard download cd to MP3 player Theres been several times We bought CDs out on trips and could not listen to them

We have the MP3 set up but Peg wants a CD changer I can get one new sorta it's 2007 model Clarion CD changer for around 200.00 still in the box. Gonna mount in trunk area so what comes in the box As for accessory ? Anybody Remeber this far back lol

The 2.4 Ecotec was famous for the Pontiac Solstice & Saturn version. bullet proof motor that adding a turbo will make it even meaner 300+hp My 2007 Solstice has the 2.0 Ecotec Turbo stock 267hp adding dealer chip boost turbo and PCM making it 300hp up grade turbo will boost to 400hp but a pain to do water pump lol Sorry about the photo car in garage poor lighting S.I.D.I. Turbo Spark Injection Direct Injection now if 2.4 motor is the same design? Without turbo It'll have 2600lbs of fuel injection

The kit came in yesterday dint expect it this quick anyhow I worked on it this morning would have had it done within 20min but the gasket came apart and stuck to cover and block so needless to say everything else was a breeze ! Now my clutch doesn't slip and the backrest is getting a work out when I throttle into it lol THKS Skydoc you be the man !!!!! So now we wait for E.S. Meet to get here
