The whole time I've owned this Second Gen. I thought to myself how it lacked power?man this thing is really detuned? I sold my First Gen. and kept this one? WHY? It ran fair or OK on our trip to ST. Charles MO. meet, we kept up with the group OK but not what I expected from a V4 motor. Coming home on I44 doing 70-75mph we were getting around 32-35mpg not bad for fighting head winds and some rain storms but still I expected better performance. Anyway after we got home I went out to ride up to the store and it would not even pull itself out of the garage. Found I bought some bad gas, after putting in fresh gas I did some testing and found my #3 cylinder was totally dead no spark... Well after my second Knee rehab again, I finally got around to changing it out,man that was a big pain in the rear. I could not believe the power this beast has now WOW. my word this baby is ALIVE.. The Whole time I've owned this bike the #3 cylinder must have been dead! thats over 2,500mi riding time. WOW this baby is smooth....... This motor is so well built you may not know you was on three cylinders... If not for the bad gas ordeal I might have not known I had a bad coil. And to think I was getting ready to sell this Second Gen. Well I changed my mind NOW. Looking forward to ST Jude's next Month, really going to see how well this baby does on open roads!!! Now I know why I kept it and sold the First Gen. Second gen. Rocks!!!

I Love my RSV & GW. Yes Gold Wing is the king of Touring no if's about that NO#1 Seller. GW is better balance - better handling - more power - smother ride than the RSV, but for me I prefer the RSV due to the leg room and the seating! and the sound of the V4 motor is perfect too. I Like the Wing a lot but its for Peg not me, my knees hurt to much on long long trips on the GW but Peg loves the smooth ride of the GW . Peg's back hurts alot on the RSV due to the rough ride. But I love it more due to the leg room & seating. Like apples & oranges both are totally different touring packages. And as for Voyager I really do not like the looks of it, and the seating looks to small for two up. And this report on the Voyager did not help it any, but like all new rides there will be bugs and breakdowns until all worked out. And as for the Third Gen. if and when it ever comes out, I'll wait 2-3yrs before thinking of buying one maybe by then the bugs would be worked out. Then again I may not like the looks of the Third Gen. either,If so I'll be keeping my RSV for some time to come!!!!!

Lowell I wish you knew how much I wanted to be there:crying:. But the HUB drained most of our funds so I had to stay and use the $$$ to pay bills instead of riding down:headache:. BUMMER Glad everything went well for you:) Maybe next year if you have another get together I'll be able to come down then.

A lot of the vehicle's have the camber adjustment on the lower control arm, and the camber bolt is located toward the center of the vehicle. And I had few that needed the camber bolt kit before any adjustments could be done. All your doing is changing out the preset bolt from the factory and installing the camber bolt kit . just make sure you have no weight or load in the area your working on when removing the bolts or the vehicle could fall on you or worse...If your not mechanically incline leave it to the mechanics. Do note : If camber kit is needed, When installing the camber kit all this does is makes the camber settings even more worse than the factory settings because now you need a alignment machine to reset the camber settings. If you change out the kits yourself, get the alignment done soon as possible or you could say bye bye to your tires lot sooner!.

Jim you was right by Colesgrandpaw, nicest couple you could ever meet. And he knows Mt. Magazine even blind folded, trust me on this one......Mt. Magazine is a beautiful place indeed! I'm looking for extra set of seats so I can have Rick redo them for me on my RSV. So far I see nothing but praise on his handy work and I sat on Colesgrandpaw seat that Rick redone, man it was nice. Bill by the time you get done adding all the extras you think it will be able to keep up with the Gold Wing. Ain't worried about the First Gen. Looking forward to seeing your photos, when ever you decide to post them. If everything goes OK on my end I'll be seeing you at St Jude's, Just might ride the Roadkill Stallion down but we will see?

Thats a good one.

I have the Ride-on in the RSV tires & Trailer tires so far so good but I have not ran over any nails either. Where is your leak at in your tire? if its near or on the side wall, most tire sealants will not work unless its in the tread area..

Have the Kumho Run Flat on my Wing with 3oz of Dyna beads installed and have to say I'm very pleased with the ride. At the International Rally -Hub, the Kumho did great in the turns and curves never did slip or slide, took some of those curves around 40-50mph and never did get loose on me, like I said (some) not all ! some of them curves your kissing your behind going around but still this Kumho did its job:happy34:. Also pulled our trailer to the Rally cruising speed with the trailer 70-75mph and every thing went as clock work. Course this is a Run Flat CT and a whole lot more money $$$ too. But by what I been told and read I should get around 25,000 - 30,000mi out of this Kumho. I am well pleased with this Kumho and I'm sticking with it. No the CT is not for everyone but for me I very pleased!! Buddy
