I never meet Colt McCoy but Marvin friend of mine said he is one nice Kid!! Marvin is a Long Horn nut he lives and breathes Long Horns!! And Sheryl his wife is a OU Sooner nut. So theres blood every year doing the Red River Game. Sure is fun watching them pick on each other too LOL They also have a Flag pole in the front yard "A Tall Flag Pole" each year the winner of the red river game their flag is put up the pole and so far its been "Texas" But Marvin won't let Sheryl put the Texas flag up the pole any more she has a problem of putting it upside down for some reason. http://cheeseheadtv.com/nfl/browns-qb-colt-mccoy-lends-name-to-fundraising-effort

17/80/15... That is one narrow tire you bought there Gary....Good thing you don't live here in Okla. you would be in every grove the road has.. I know you meant 170/80/15 just wanted to pick on you.. I'm fixing to mount the Kendra Kruz rear tire off my First gen.(left over new tire)on the front of my RSV 140/90/16 and buy another Kenda Kruz tire for the rear 150/90/15. Will see how things work out?

I have the Harbor Freight jack and it works fine with my jack adapter that I built for the RSV & RSTD used it to replace my front tire and did some cleaning on the bike while in the air sure did wonders for my knee's too no more crawling around on the floor doing chrome shine. Like stated you will need a adapter for the Venture or RSTD "NO" cycle jack will work until you have a adapter for it...... Buddy

You know thats funny in a way I guess? I know several friends that ride HD whats funny is one of them has well over 80,000mi on his 05 HD Road King and not even a problem once just preventive maintenance and tires etc. and the other friend his 08 HD Ultra spends more time in the shop for anything from a motor to transmission problems to electrical problems?both are stock from the factory when we were at Snarley Bill's ST. Charles meet in MO. we were riding around the Country side with Kross Krountry & his wife Lori checking out the Winery's Peg had fun doing the Wine taste test :whistling:lets just say it helped her back problem pretty good:) anyway the bikes we seen broke down on the side of the road were 7 HD seems there was a HD rally close by But we did see 1 GW GL1500 being loaded up on a trailer so HD was not the only ones breaking down that day. I have to admit I would love to have a Ultra Classic some day I just like the HD looks!

Dang Mike hate hearing this Glad neither one of you was hurt to bad. Hope you get things going again and as for the road that is a NO-NO around here our Street & Road Surp. is a rider as well and he makes sure the roads around here are not in that condition I would bring it to the Insurance co. attention about the road and with the State Road Dept. as well. Wont get anything from the State but it will be in the records for poor road conditions! Which they do not want!!!! Sorry Mike for your mishap and hope you get your black beauty back sooner than 3mo. Thanks Joe for the info. I totally forgot about buying that pad for Peg when we were at the ST. Charles meet her back was killing her when we got up there she was in total pain she could hardly walk at all we sat one day out due to her back really hurting her and it was raining that day too so that helped some. anyway Kross Krounty gave us a passenger sheep skin cover and I bought the Wallie world pad and they both together did wonders for Peg's back going home her back still gave her problems so she went to the Doctor, if not for the pad I do not know where we would have been. Thanks To ColesGrandpaw for the back rubbing medicine too that really help!! Peg still uses the Pad & Sheepskin and loves it very much. As for the beads we let them go with the 83 Venture when it sold....

I can say is if Bill sells his GW who ever buys it will be getting a Excellent ride indeed!!! Bill takes no short cuts when adding stuff to the Wing... Top notch work all the way around and in Prime mint condition too... He added a lot of chrome to this baby........ If anyone wants to know what Bill's Wing looks like? Take a look at Roadkill Wing their both the same year & color and both in mint condition !!!!!!!!Someone was to offer Roadkill a good price he might sell his?? Who knows.. OK I'm done - I do miss my Blue Wing.....But my knee's love the Midnight......

We tried both sheep skin & Beads on our old 83 Venture and we liked the beads much better you can feel the cool air under you as your going down the hwy to where the sheep skin just keep you comfy. Oh and don't use the beads during winter time or they will freeze you know what off:whistling: We bought our beads at Wallie World in the automotive section did some modifying to fit the seat they worked really well......

I do not know how it was done but Ronnie told me he had HD redo the fuel system to dump more fuel into the motor to the point of flooding out the spark plugs in order to get the engine temp. down some. Bad thing about it is Ronnie paid for it all out of his own pocket. He said he wished now he dint trade in his 05 Ultra Classic on this new Ultra..... I really like my RSV . Funny thing is so does Ronnie his looking at may be getting a RSV too .....
