Well the Hub is a few days away and we're looking forward to getting away from here:) I need a break from work big time....... But of all luck I was under a old tack truck today bleeding the brakes and a Yellow jack came out of the frame work and stung my right hand, now its all swollen up like a grape fruit:headache: I'm not missing this Rally even if Peg has to duck tape my hand to the handle bars another good use for duck tape:rotfl: See everyone Friday midday......

I miss my 1st Gen..The 2nd Gen is fine But I miss my 1st Gen
buddy replied to E-Fishin-C's topic in Watering Hole
Miss a First gen.so much? why buy a crotch rocket?. Miss a First gen. so much you figure you would buy one but no you go and buy a copy cat. we do not want to hear you whine anymore about how much you miss a First Gen. Kidding a side it is a pretty bike I here they ride pretty good but the set up would tear my knees up on long trips. We meet a couple from CA. going to the east coast and they said theirs was smooth on the open road and pretty good on gas too? and they had it loaded down pretty good they were camping and having fun doing it too.. Nice ride Mr.C:thumbsup2: -
I have the old Garmin Streetpilot 2720 its a dinosaur but it has saved my bacon many times on the RSV. it does not have all the features like the newer ones but as long it gets me where I want to go is all that matters to me best 130.00 I spent

Yes the GL1800 is a power house thats for sure!! roll down to 20mph in 4th and roll back the throttle and set back and enjoy the ride no down shifting with this GOLD WING. main reason I bought the GW was for Peg's back she really loved the seats her back never hurt on the GW but for me it was rough on my knees got to the point my right knee was swelling up pretty good due to the leg position. for now I will stay with the RSV its easier on my knees I can stretch out and relax. Do I still want a GW yes very much love the power & smooth ride it puts out just wish my knees would not bother me so much:(

Sweet ride you getting there!! I fell in Love with Mavricks New Ultra when we were down at his house picking up the black Stallion I always like the HD Ultra just could not afford the high price tag they come with $$ we took a Ultra for a test ride and Peg said no its shakes to much for her at red lights but for me I really liked the ride it was really smooth on the open road to me it rode better than the RSV but Peg said she prefers the Wing or RSV... as long the bike has intercom & C/B we are just fine with what we have .. Nice ride love the color too............

A New Problem . Bogging Down Above 45/50
buddy replied to Cougar's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
Without looking at it or hearing it run its hard to say? but by what you saying it sounds like the fuel pump is getting weak. I see this a lot on police cars they idle fine no miss even running up to the rev.limiter in park mode in the shop it runs OK but get it under a load going down the street above 30mph it wont shift right bogging down and jerking acting like the transmission is acting up but really its the fuel pump taking a crap?
