Victory Vision (If you think the RSV Clutch Basket whine is annoying....)
buddy replied to SilvrT's topic in Watering Hole
LOL......... Showed Peg and she still laughing:rotfl: we both loved her boy she is good at timing it with the bike........ -
Not bashing any bikes! Ultra Classic - lack of leg room and heat from the engine still would like to own one but the $$ is the killer for me Voyager - nice bike but lack of leg room - flimsy plastic bags and trunk would not hold up for me like Tupperware and the heat from motor Vision - Plenty of leg room like the ride and saddle bags and trunk are well made would hold up for me BUT I still think they are UGLY Oh and its well Balance too.... Second Gen. best leg room well made bags & trunk rides out smooth BUT out of all the touring bikes its the worst one for being top heavy... Gold Wing GL1800 worst leg room for anyone over 6ft has the best balance - ride - pure power but its covered in Tupperware - but still love them Valkyrie Interstate - basically a naked Gold Wing but meaner! has the biggest fuel tank and like the GL1800 well balanced - smooth ride but is the weakest link for having electronics I know the Valkyrie does not have the electronics your looking for but I afraid you will be disappointed after being on the Valkyrie due to the awesome power - smooth ride and top of the line balanced motors!!! Now out of the touring bikes if I was going for Electronics and only Electronics I would go with the Victory Vision I test rode one and I like the set-up but dang they are ulgy

Used too I would pick on you guys about who's faster and who's not Now days I could care less who's faster who's slower I had the First Gen. yes fast bike for its day and time but those days are long gone ! Second Gen. is nothing like the First Gen. that's why its called the Second Gen. ! You guys are always picking on each other as who has the better bike I found out its neither one Want fast and big touring bike? Well look no further The Valkyrie Interstate is the better bike! will eat up and spit out First Gen. will out perform the Second Gen. and No its not a Gold Wing its the Gold Wings worst nightmare OK done picking on you guys

Comment was made First Gen. can blow the doors off the Second Gen. Sorry there's no way in this world that will ever happen!!! NO doors on a Second Gen.

If & when Wildhair39 see this post he can testify how well Ride-On works in his tires......

Patti - Don Thank You so much for the Video Peg & I really Loved it !! Guess because we know who's flying that Beast.... Wish we could have seen it in person... Tell Jason we said hey and tell him like always Thank You so much !!!!!!!!!!!! Will see you both at ST. Jude's maybe we can see Jason and his family soon too Until then God Bless from Peg & I.....
-
Nope the two will not work together... Ride- On can be used as a tire sealant & balance as well I used both at different times and both work really well but the Dyna-Beads you can reuse Ride-On you cannot
-
Well I was going to say something but figured I keep my mouth shut for now since I may be taking my new to me Valkyrie I/S on a 1,500+miles trip first of Oct. I know he must feel sick spending that kinda of $$$$ then having to ride home on a RSV as a passenger

As for frame recall if yours has been inspected or repaired it will have a punch stamped on the Vin label on left hand side of steering head if not which I'm sure it has just in case there is no expiration date on this recall!! Mine had the stamp but took mine to the Honda dealer anyway and they went on line and had the full history from Honda on what been done to the Wing.

Just curious, How many Wing Riders do we have on the site?
buddy replied to Midrsv's topic in Honda Goldwing Tech Talk
Congratulations:happy34: besides the Pearl Blue Wing that was the color I wanted when I was shopping but never found one Your gonna love the handling and power this Wing puts out!! if you do not have highway pegs best get some since the Wing does not have the Venture or Valkyrie leg room one of the reason why I dint go back with the Wing the fairing put too much of a bind on my knee's when stretching out on long trips knee's would swell up pretty bad making the trip unhappy other than that I loved the Wing.....Pure power and excellent ride!!!!! like stated once before the Valkyrie Interstate is the Corvette while the Gold Wing is the Cadillac -
Snowflake & I will be there......

Wayne - Robin Peg & I send our love and prayers to your family in this time of need........ God Bless Buddy & Snowflake

Glad in the end it worked in your favor and yes i have to say the victory vision is nice I sit on one the other day at the dealer my buddy was looking for a new bike. its well balanced and plenty of room the looks are still kinda ugly but its looks like its working on me lol but I wont be buying one any time soon my Valkyrie is paid which is a plus due to the fact I cannot afford a 22,000 dollar bike besides I'm one of the old timers here and I ride a Valkyrie I/S now and I'm still here until Freebird gets tired of me:whistling: You have a new ride where are the photo's Buddy

just wondering since I do not have my Wing (Old Blue)anymore does my Valkyrie I/S count? its a version of what a Gold Wing should look like anyway Sure do miss Old Blue... But blackie makes up for it on the open road...... -

You will be OK as long you do not mount one right above the TCI itself mount them off to the side of the unit about 3"or more if you can and you will be OK Done this to my 83 model and had no problems with it.
