  1. Good to hear this since some of my family has Diabetes Tell him thank you when you see him:) Mile Rider I see you have a lot of miles under your belt sounds like fun so when you did these long distance runs where did your donations go to?
  2. maybe this is the one? I read it went I bought the venture http://pashnit.com/venture-wht.htm
  3. Dan I was going to pick on you but the more I looked at the photos the more I see how far you came back from your ordeal I have to say it great seeing you able to cross your legs again and get down and dirty working on the bikes! even a Second Gen. there was a time you could hardly stand - bend your leg or even walk across the room now your able to cross your legs and turn wrenches :clap2: Buddy
  4. Dan is a photo of the crank sensor location. Rear of the Transmission housing above the Diff.housing basically back side of the motor in the bell housing Part $21.00 - 25.00 labor rate 0.8 hrs so its not to bad almost an hour time frame OEM # 469153AC
  5. Dan it could be several items causing this? If he has no spark it could be crank sensor - cam/hall affect sensor/Disturbutor/relays/ignition switch/coil pack etc etc. on and on? use small amount of starting fluid and see if it will start? if so it will be fuel issue I have in the past used a rubber hammer and tapped on the fuel tank and the fuel pump would start working again but not always. if it does then you know you have a bad fuel pump. its hard for us to help since we cannot see the van but we can give you ideas on what to check keep us up to date?
  6. I have to say I was kinda worried about the piggy backer when I bought it due to it having 8" tires but after our run to B2Mom/Dad's meet I have to say I was real pleased 1,400 miles and 5 states later they never gave me any trouble.
  7. Kent all you had to say was " I do not recommend it"..... We dint need a essay about how you feel about it
  8. Tire sealant never voided warranty when I was at Good Year The three Good Year stores I managed we never voided tire warranty due to sealant in the tires! Tires come from the MFG with workmanship & material defect Only you was pretty much screwed warranty wise unless you bought Road Hazard to cover tires due to nails & screws- bolts -curbing tire - etc etc. that would ruin the tire Uniroyal came out with tires with thick band of tire sealant built in the tread area it worked fairly good but was a pain for balancing tires and doing patch jobs In a way I can see your point on this! we did tell cust. that leaving tire sealant in the tires over long periods of time would eat away at the wheels (temp. use only)but we never did say it would void tire warranty We had Fix-A-Flat for sale on the sales rack in the show room far as I know and from others that use Ride-On we never had a issue with the wheels using Ride - On I'm gonna go buy some now
  9. Good stuff I used it when I had my Venture Wildhair39 told me about the stuff he said it work great he had to change his rear tire while out on the road tread was worn down he was everywhere!! Anyway when they removed the tire it had 4 or 5 nails in it.. He said he dint know about it due to the tire never loosing any air..
  10. Which tire you have on the Wing? I had the kumho Run - Flat on the 1800 never had any issues it was so stable I almost fall asleep lol
  11. Here you go .. http://www.ebay.com/itm/RIDE-ON-MOTORCYCLE-TIRE-BALANCER-AND-SEALANT-8oz-/130650309393?pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&hash=item1e6b5d8311&vxp=mtr
  12. Ride-On http://www.bikebandit.com/ride-on-tps-atv-tire-balancer-and-sealant?WT.mc_id=1484958 May be cheaper in E-Bay
  13. Nice looking but why is your cargo box mounting on back wards?
  14. What wt.oil you using now? I always ran 15w40
  15. Man that is low:no-no-no: but funny:rotfl: Nothing like my tupperware 1500:rotfl:
  16. Let me correct myself.. tires use to have two arrows "Universal" one for front tire rotation and the other for rear tire rotation now you only see one arrow for rotation Trying not to change the subject from what we started with just stating times have changed over the years motorcycle tire MFG found that by removing the Universal logo they can charge more for the tire because now its either front or rear rotation only! folks now days forgot or never knew about the universal fitment so now when someone puts a rear tire on the front backwards its a bad setup or they call it the "Dark Side" because the rotaton is now wrong. Folks the tires are still Universal ! Boy do I feel old now LOL
  17. Funny how times have changed.. My father-in-law had an Indian when he was dating my Mother-in-Law and it had car tires on it front and back but thats been many years ago. I asked a insurance rep. about this few years back when I had my GL1800 and he said as long they are D.O.T. there was no issue Remember when motorcycle tires use to have arrows stating front or back on the sidewall now all you see is rear or front only
  18. We get looked over as well but we blow it off most of the time they are looking the bike over and trailer as well.. funny thing is sometimes we get looks like we're trouble until I smile and open the door or hold it open for folks then they smile back saying Thank you! heck we talk to more people at the gas pump then any where else lol most of them saying - wish we could that - man thats not right I have to work or yeah I remember the days when we rode lol We had a car pass us on the way to B2Mom&Dads meet and when they got ahead of us a kid give us the thumbs up as they went by Peg thought that was so cool seeing that from a young kid..
  19. Funny I was looking for one at harbor freight not long ago and they said no longer sold here? So I bought a new/used Piggy Backer 07 model that never been on the road for 500.00 by looking at the photo's the HF trailer is the same as the Piggy Backer except the Piggy Backer has chrome wheels with longer tongue with cooler rack. HF trailer is less than half price of a new PG trailer and both are from China LOL Buddy
  20. Happy for you Peg!!! It will be another 10yrs for me at the city garage that will add up to 22yrs in that nut house lol but kinda gives your age away being your retiring:rasberry:
