With sad news I sold my Wing and it was not a easy call Due to my health getting worse and Pegs health issues the Wing sat in the garage I spent money $$$$ on several style seats - backrests and peg extensions still had pain in my body use to I could ride 700+miles with no issues now if I went just 20 miles my body was in pain so we talked about it a lot So I sold the Wing after I removed the extras and got a heck of deal $$$ and in turn bought a 2000 one owner Mazda Miata LS and so far I am loving it Peg as well with the top down feels like we're on the Wing Has A/C-heat- cruise - elect. window/door locks Bose stereo system 5speed standard 27city 36hwy trunk has more room than the Wings bags&trunk together so Peg is happy So you might say I followed RoadKill & Wildhair39 bought a convertible We're still going to the meets & Rally's when work let's us that is if y'all don't mind us being in a convertible Buddy

4.0 pretty much bullet proof 100,000 is nothing if maintenance was done I've seen over 300,000 mi on these motors and they ran out really good !! Only real issues were the ECM being a headache

I am in shock over this So hard to accept that he has moved on from our lives yet I know he is with the Father as we talk and remembering the blessing he left behind Will be hard telling Peg in the morning about his passing she is asleep right now. Don & I talked at nights when it was late nights, going to hard not having him around at nights to talk too Don is a blessing to my family and everyone he touched in life truly hard to accept he has moved on.. Please let me know if there will be any services for Don and if there is anything we can do for the family Don is and forever more be my dear friend God speed my brother

Dan are you asking if I posted it when mine went down? If so yes but it was before the system crash we had in 2006. Now that makes me feel like a old timer lol Note: I see Brad had already mention it in earlier post duh I need better reading glasses lol -

check pickup coils pigtail connection. Remove left side cover pigtail is located on upper frame work where false tank and seat meet can not remember if its red or white. This will cause a no spark condition! My 83 did what yours is doing! Mine was getting bad connection reconnected and it fired right up -
Pretty cool! Hope it works in your direction. Now tell us really? Why would walking dead want your house in their show? Really is it like the monsters . Honestly I hope it really works for you two!!

Barry I was there when you two were talking about protecting the radiator and I have to say that's really cool !! Think of all the money Miles saved you...

Ok so you left out some info as to why it was back firing!

Rob my boss and best friend had the same issues your having and same motor. Had it looked over at the mower shop and found his valve push rods were bent cost him 86.00 for them to go in and replace them and one valve now it runs like a dream The mechanic stated that once his motor back fired it bent the push rods which is common on these engines
