Hey Bill We miss you two as well our vacation dint last very long then I was having issues with my breathing just out of E.R. Last night did all kinds of test and all were in great shape heart lungs blood work EKG etc etc still having issues breathing Doc still wondering what's wrong next thing is maybe stress test on my heart this is the main reason I sold the rest of my bikes due to my health

Total Shock Peg & I are shocked never figured the trike would ever be sold Now as for Don wanting a convertible I know he will enjoy it as for me I love my Miata LS Sport sure is a blast to drive really like it when the weather is to hot for me or Peg put the top up and turn the A/C on or leave the top down with A/C on sounds crazy but you do feel the cold A/C ! It's not fast as for a mustang or Vette but it will tear up the twistys and curves in a heart beat Don hope you find the convertible you want and hope once you switch over you stay around with us folks lol

Well I been on 24/7 at work since mid May and needless to say I'm burned out lol My boss / best friend told me to take the weekend off so I talked to Peg about hiding out so where do we go yep you guessed it Eureka Springs AR we be here for the weekend will head back Sunday to the 24/7 again until October Figured we be here at Edelweiss Inn where it nice and quite yeah right the Volkswagen meet is here lot of nice looking cars and some weird ones as well, photo of one in the Inn parking lot I thought my wife was skinny but this takes the cake lol Nice drive up in the Miata first long trip and so far we are loving it not in much pain right now Peg having fun relaxing but it's weird not having any of the Venture family here sure is quite here only Peg to talk too poor Peg lol Buddy

Yep sure is well worth the 12.00 Really enjoy being on here even tho I drive a Miata now Guess you might say this is my family first motorcycles Second Ice cream third or is it first? Hot fudge Sunday sounds good right now

well it looks like there will be hog hunting so I might add Freebird be better to ride the venture to this rally we don't want your hog getting shot by mistake

had a blast when I went with Ray&Joan (Colesgrandpaw) weather was perfect very relaxed ride best part no stop lights-signs nor any big rigs allowed! Once in awhile you might get some nut passing you up and we did see several highway patrol on the ride so watch your speed!

OK now I can't breath LOL....... Dan your like me hard to keep the front tire on the ground we like doing wheelies Peg started hitting me after I did several wheelies at Eureka Springs meet back in 2006

I had the Shinko tour master on my Midnight they give excellent ride grip the twisties and curves really good but I was only getting 9-10,000 mi on rear tire as for the front side I bought another rear tire mounted it on the front give me double the tread and lasted me around 18,000 miles

I was at O'Rielly's picking up a Alternator for my Z28 and Bryan asked how we was doing and asked about our trips on the Wing this year when I stated I sold the Wing and bought a convertible due to Peg's health getting worse along with my knees and back a guy buying parts stated I was a dumb s.o.b and I stated he was not in the conversation he started in again how stupid I was for selling and buying a car instead I should have bought a trike instead being nice I told him that would do us no good and he should mind his own business but he kept up and it made Peg feel bad in a way since she knew I loved riding the Wing and also pissed her off as well So as I was paying for the part he came over to me and started it up again that's when Bryan stepped in and told him to leave the store and not come back boy he was pissed at everyone now so he left the store Bryan said he was sorry for what happened no biggie so we left the store there he was waiting on us as he starting up again I told him if he valued his life he best leave he got in my face and stated I better call the police because he was going to beat me up LOL that's when I starting laughing and said which one you want me to call he was kinda confused now I stated I was their senior mechanic and knew everyone of them and had their numbers as well so he back off and left never knew who he was or why he try to start a fight but He was nasty looking wearing a HD shirt with torn jeans Buddy

I still wave even in my convertible talk about getting looks lol and they even way back I been doing it so long kinda hard to stop now

Hey Rosebud you two be staying at the Hilton when ya'll go to the Mena met Peg said she loves that Hilton better than the tent

LOL Will the tires on the Miata are smaller than the rear tire on the Wing lol As for the steroe system it has a cassette & CD set up and like my Ventures I never used the cassette lol

Nice photos In a way I know how you feel sold my honda when I was raising two kids did not ride until the kids were almost out of school which was my 83 Venture Peg & I added the miles I put on my touring bikes combined when I sold my last bike It all added up to 201,263.00 . 38,485.00 of that was when Peg rode with me Trying to say is you may have been off for some time now that your back to riding you can add the miles up really quick Looking forward to more photos and hope we get together later down the road Buddy

So far I feel no pain in the Miata really nice as I can stretch out and Peg loves it very much I finally got her behind the wheel to learn how to drive a stick shift let's just say its a learning curve LOL I know this thing is not fast as my Z28 which will leave it sitting still but when it comes to curves or twisties this Miata will stomp the Z28 any day of the week! Plus we have more leg room in the Miata compared to the Z28 which worked out great for my legs As stated earlier leaving the top down during rain storm I consider the top as our rain suit so I'll put it up lol As for being faster than a Second Gen. It be a draw but when I get out I don't have to worry about the Miata falling on its side lol Buddy
