LOL I have white walls and know they can be a pain. A clean bike with Dirty white walls still looks dirty. SOS seems to work the best for me. Brad

Rule #1 is Pictures! New White walls and no pics ? I hope you know that you will probably spend more than 3 hours cleaning them before you replace them. Can't have Dirty white walls. Brad

Tightening the steering Head attempt
BradT replied to Seaking's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
When I did it my wrench got stuck could not slip it off, so I pulled the handlebars and used a socket. It worked but was a pain. NOt sure the torque but it seemed to loosen off again and I have not got around to tightening it again.. Brad -

I seen yah Run and I do not think you will have to worry about too many VR Members catching you. Besides looking at the video you can see how fast Don moved. Brad

I used a 50 amp but that was all I could get they had 10 amps but I did not think it was big enough. Didn't want to burn up that switch as well. As V7 mentioned 30 should be enough Brad -
Good Luck, and ride Safe. Brad

Carl this one looks like it would suit your needs. I am sure you would be able to see the large screen on it. Seriously though, Garmin programming is quite easy to use and with that large screen it is easy to use while riding. I have the Zumo 450 and the screen is quite small and slows you down a little. Okay, Are you two trying to say something, you both beat Joopie too it. Metal bolts inplace, oil change done, just not sure about the battery, maybe Swifty will push this time, instead of making the women push. Actually not sure Naugh-T is going to ride, (still has back issues) but I think her bike is ready. Brad

Carl has a hard time with it as well. LOL I am sure you will enjoy your stay. Brad

Maybe depending on how far you are, you could leave early Saturday, you could go to MD, and head home late afternoon. That would be a nice day. Might even be someone heading that way Saturday Morning, or meet up with someone along the way. Think there is a few planning on leaving Saturday morning from Erie. Either way have a nice weekend. Brad

I will also add a big thank you ,to both Brad and Lonna as well. I was able to slip across Friday night and have Brad help me with a few items, well Brad did most of the work and fix my boo boo's. Rhonda and I had a good time, and had a real nice ride despite how the weather mans predictions. We were also able to meet up with Lonna's daughter, Heather and Mike it was nice to meet you, but have to apologize for running off. See you at MD. Brad

Wonder what's so interesting out side ? Brad

I have pretty much only used SOS and water. Works quite well. NEver liked using chemicals on tires, after having four BFG tires on my van go bad. Beads of the tires cracked all the way around, (one side only). BFG came good for it but asked what I used and it was was tire cleaner and they commented that could have been the cause. Brad
