Steering Head Bearings Hint
BradT replied to V7Goose's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
Thanks. I would prefer to remove the bearings completely but depending on how much time I have this may be a pretty good alternative. Brad -
Who will / will not allow their kids to have a motorcycle?
BradT replied to Sunrayman's topic in Watering Hole
WE encourage the kids to ride but after a few years of driving a car. Naugh-T and I both are the only ones in our Family that ride. I am sure most of our families are not fussy on us riding but I know a few of them pay more attention to bikes while they are driving. My mother hates bikes but she stops and talks to anyone on a motorcycle now. Concerns me a little. She went for a very little ride and screamed in my ears, but Rhondas mother and my dad enjoyed the ride. Brad -
Broke a *%&!##$ Valve cover bolt
BradT replied to Sheradan's topic in Venture and Venture Royale Tech Talk ('83 - '93)
If you have not done this already take the cover off maybe there is a bit of the bolt sticking up so you can get at it. Also check to make sure you did not damage the cam cap. Brad -
Steering Head Bearings Hint
BradT replied to V7Goose's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
Are you saying that you can inspect and apply a bit of grease without unplugging all the wires ? Obviously this would not be pulling the bearing off and inspecting them properly, correct. Brad -

So did I miss what you bought ? Another Kia? I do not think I ever got what the manufacturer said you would. Brad

04 Trailblazer that sits more (85,000 km) than it gets driven. 03 Impala, that we bought a year ago and have put 44,000 km on it, since we got it. The Trailblazer is not the easiest on gas but is nice to drive, and the impala gets great gas mileage. They all have problems so it does not matter what type you drive. GM's are cheap, easy to fix. GM's seem to have electrical gremlins that seem to fix themselves at least for a while. Sad when you will pay more for the bike than a car. Brad

to the unemployment line. The Company she worked for lost the contract so the new company came in and offered her a job but cut her hours big time. Also wanted her to start 2 hours earlier. We commute together and to a different city (40 miles return). She is a hard worker so I am sure she will find something, hopefully soon. Brad

I see it is set for the August 11-15th. In case you decide to change it, be aware that there is a Yamaha Raider Rally in Asheville Aug. 4-8th. When ever it is and if we have the time off it would be nice to be able to make it. http://www.raiderrally.com/ Brad

Does 25 inches of snow and -40 windchill sound fun to you?!?!?!
BradT replied to Chaharly's topic in Watering Hole
The snow can be fun. The Temp is not. Worse when it is that cold and then wind chill on top Brad -

ITs hard for Rhonda and Brooke because Rhonda just loves any animal, and when Brooke was 1 we went to petsmart and they had a ton of cats, cages stacked 3 high ,while looking brooke decided to wander off, lots of people all over,so panic set in had some employees looking couldnt find her,Rhonda VERY upset went back to the cages looked down and their was Brooke in the cage with Fluffy,he was sitting on her,so we decided to take him vs the one I wanted,he was well worth it,gave us 15yrs kindness,he was very friendly, where ever Rhonda went he would go,one time a kid sat on him we got him off and the cat just layed there. He WILL be missed
