  5. We rent ours and it was acting up one night so I called for the service. First thing next morning they showed up and advised it was rusting bad so they would replace it. It was jsut over 10 years old. They were there the next day to do the work. Kichener has a bylaw that makes us install a temp restrictor valve which is suppose to be set at 120f. Had a member crank it to 131 which is max. They also had to change the venting as it was black ABS and the code is changed to a white plastic piping. Cost me 40 bucks and 1 dollar a month rental on the restrictor that I really did not want in the first place. Randy can not remember the make but it was 50 gal high eff. Most of my neighbours all had theirs changed as well. This was a new subdivision 10 yr ago. Brad

  9. If they have the cracking issues tracked to 1/2% and they hit 1% in failures, I would bet she could give youthe dates the problems occured and when they corrected it. I would have asked for month when they feel the issue started and how long before they re-acted. It bet the answer could be real interesting ? Brad

I think they were the first ones to import it. Stick to the auto shops before CTC or Walmart in Canada. Brad
  12. You have it correct that the Small hole line up on the rear cylinders and the large holes for the front Cylinders. I can not remember how the cam lobes faced but it did look ackward. When reinstalling chain tensioner on the rear before attempting to install the front cams it will rotate the engine back away from the T1 Mark. Rotate the engine back to the T1 mark and then Remember to rotate the crank one full turn then an additional 70 degrees before lining up the T2 mark. Then line up the large holes. Careful to get the large and small holes correct. See pic as on one of the cams there was both large and small holes very close. Brad
  13. Here is our favorite but it is a bit longer than 5 hours it is a 460 mile day. A bit of super slab to get to the really nice roads but it is worth it Brad

  15. The Shinko tread pattern looks alot like the Michelin Commanders or at least the fronts are close. Just for the the record I like the D404's mainly because of the white walls but I do get about 10-12,000 miles on the rear and replaced them yearly. These were replaced with at least 1/16" tread left but was going on a road trip and was not about to push it. The last twice as long as the rears. Brad
