Keith just suggesting but if Piggy backer is doing this under warranty, it may be cheaper for them and faster for you to look locally for a new set of rims and have him pay you. Freight to Newfoundland may be the expensive and slow. Just an idea that may benefit both of you. Brad

A friend of mine a former Venture Rider Leo Cozzarin went on a road trip. He planned on a three week trip to South Dakota, Yellowstone, Colorado and where ever else he wanted to go. Eight days into his trip, it was cut short by an accident. Thankfully he was in a construction zone and was stopped in traffic. He was there for a while so he got off the bike and was texting his wife, when the accident occured. Glad he is okay. Pictures he sent me are posted below. Brad Three injured in U.S. 191 crash A woman from Switzerland and two others riding in her vehicle were injured July 14 after she apparently fell asleep at the wheel, crashing into a motorcycle rider and a semi-tractor trailer, according to a report from the Utah Highway Patrol. The women, 27, was traveling north on U.S. 191 at mile 146 at about 11 a.m. when the crash occurred in a construction zone where traffic was restricted to one lane of travel at a time, according to the report. The motorcycle and the semi were stopped and waiting to be guided through the construction area when the crash occurred, UHP officials said. The motorcycle rider and semi driver escaped injury. The woman and two other occupants of the Jeep were transported by ambulance to Allen Memorial Hospital. The road was closed to intermittent traffic for about 1.5 hours, according to the report. Yup clutch was gone jammed it from third to second and then tried not to slow down too much but some of the corners had me pretty slow. Had to wait until the top before there was a flat spot to stop. Brakes were not an issue, but had to coast to a stop, was not fun. Brad

Mine says 4/27/2010 as a start date ! I thought I have been around here for longer than that ! Brad

I too had an issue with old clutch fluid. 100+ degrees on the way out andwhen we hit the mountains I lost the clutch. Pull it in and nothing, rode second gear most of the way up looking for a spot to stop. At the top it was much cooler changed the fluid and was fine after that. Think it has to do with moisture and the temps created, that prevents the fluid from doing what it is suppose to. If it is old change it before you go, or your friend Murphy will visit. Brad

I think I would replace tires as well as the rims. Must be the problem, good luck Brad

Ragtop, just keep the revs higher no problems. Gas mileage suffers a bit but worth it. Still kick myself for not taking the time to do beartooth pass, when in Yellowstone Brad

Get a heated blanket they roll up quite small and will keep you warm during the cold nights. That is all you will need even on those cold or warm nights Ian enjoy your trip Brad

PS. Swifty Why buy the tools when you know there in the garage. Stop spending a bunch of money on a little noise or if you here a little backfire. Eat at Macdonalds in stead of them fancy restaurants and two incomes sure help a lot. I guess it where you put your priorities Brad

This is a bit of a sour subject for many, so I am not trying . Not sure what the wages are for the rest of the states, but our teachers get a decent salary. Maybe they deserve more but so do a lot of other jobs, that do not get the vacation time and who work many hours overtime without getting paid for the extra time. What gets me is the system. I personally do not like the way they push the kids through, even when they do not pass. For some reason the school board will not allow the kids to fail when they deserve too. Teachers say they are fighting for the kids and I do not doubt that but the long and short is the kids are not getting the education they desrerve. Brad

You normally do anyway. Welcome to the site. Brad

I buy Mastercraft because they have some dam good sales. Sometimes I buy just because it is on sale as I know someday I am going to need it. Never broke any so no need to see how there warranty is. Have heard they stand behind them and the tools are pretty good. I like their professional series Brad

The bike is 5 wire unless you use an adapter/converter, then you get four wires. In Ontario it is hard to find a 5 wire plugs but relatively easy in the US. My Piggy backer is a four wire, the bike and truck also have 4 wire. The Time-out is being coverted from 5 wire to 4 Brad

Thinking about selling my 03 RSV What do you think?

Christo Nice comments and so true. Brad -
But it never really stopped some ! Brad

Thought about that myself. They sell little plastic covers with a slide door that snap shut. Then the power cords can slip out the side of the trailer. But I do not want to drill the hole. HAHA. Your idea sounds like it would work just as good, with little hassle. Brad

Hope it works out for you. Enjoy the ride Brad

3 feet, Dam mild winter then. I can dress for the cold but not much you can do with the heat. Those temps you start sweating climbing out of the pool. Brad

I was thinking of Forum Discussions within this Web site HAHA. He had a Harley site but maybe he used the wrong title. Too busy to work on both. Brad

Actually you have. I have read your posts re this subject and I purposely went out at night to a small town and used the side of building to adjust them properly. They were way off. Also there are times when I will run low beam in the day, but it depends on the road, my speed and the conditions. Brad
