Do the RSV have a rev limiter?
BradT replied to paai1993's topic in Royal Star and Royal Star Tour Deluxe Tech Talk
Nice looking chart but wonder if it is accurate in 5th. I would think you run out of power before hitting those numbers. Or you have one long stretch of road. Brad -
I saw a guy the other day with a stratoliner. He had four of those big ice bucket scoops that are about 8" long and 4" wide. Two were strapped to the handle bars and two by the foot pegs. Guess it worked or he would have taken them off, because it looked ridiculous BRad

Very nice. I am sure you will enjoy it. BRad

I would bet Tech Bulletin which was not fixed right. If it is leaking they should have replaced the gasket but maybe they just torqued the heads. Brad

This is so true. Had an issue with my home email. I phone Bell tech support the guy from India gets on my computer remotely and takes 3.5 hours to fix it. He installed a new email program deleted the old one (almost 5 years old) I was using. He also fixed my interenet explorer as it would never start, cleaned up all the programs the kids had on there that were taking up memory and cleaned out some older programs that were not working anymore. Works much better now and I was thinking of switching internet providers, not anymore. This guy said he makes 300/month and if he worked for a local computer company he would make 100/month. I had to ask how much the rent for a place to call home was and he said 50 bucks a month. Okay Swifty can you Brad

He had a bus but it got older quicker than he did. It's hard to believe Marca has 15 grandkids, but you that makes sense. Congrats. Brad

Well worth 40 bucks. Nice job. Brad

Lots of miles left in those. Now that they are off I would change them anyway. Brad

When we were in Yellowstone there was a small cub on the opposite side of the road, turning logs. I was wondering where mom was as we were on the bike, and the traffic of cars both directions were stopped to look. We could not move and the little guy was only 30-40 ft away. Still not sure where mom was, maybe just over the hill but we were not waiting to find out Brad

Have been using a dish for a little over 10 years with little problems. I bought two of those box's and pay 5 bucks a month for the second signal but both boxes are guaranteed for as long as I own them. They have replaced both units, one was replaced twice. I loose the signal each year at least once, but that wet sticky snow sticks. I take a broom stand on the fence and brush it off, not big deal. Never lost signal because of cloud but may have lost the signal for a few minutes during a real heavy rain once or twice. Brad

I kind of like the Silver and Burgundy not sure if that is a good deal down there or not. Guess it depends on the condition. Good luck with your search Brad

Welcome and glad you joined the site. I rarely use the search function never seems to work for me. Which part of Ontario are you in? Brad

Neither do a lot of others , so jump in anywhere. All the best on the surgeries Brad

Geez is easier, shorter too. Just put your old name in your Signature so we can remember who you are. Brad

Had a similar problem cleaned all the plugs and any ground connections as mentioned above, but my problem I think was that all those plugs were not tie straped to the inner fairing. After the cleaning and making sure the cables with the plugs were secure have not hada problem since. Except for the occasional squelling in the headset when the passenger disconnects the headset cord. I have been chasing this one since i got the bike. Get it fixed then it acts up again. Brad

That's the one I always look on. Classified section here is pretty good to look an eye as well. Brad

Looking for a good deal you can go south of the border, if you don't mind driving. Paperwork to import is quite simple and a few of us can walk you through it. If you want new you can go South as well. Can probably find a new one for better than here, and the Dolar is helping a lot. The only issue is that the warranty is not transferable to Canada. Not a big deal if you can do the small stuff yourself. The cost of most repairs is low, but warranty is still good on the South side of the border. Happy hunting and welcome to the site. Brad

Don't blame me. Yes alot were friends from the other site. The Banter did get good a few times. Only had one moderator, but he was the biggest pain in the ...... then. I was here a month after it started, joined a few weeks after Mr. Owl was beating on me. Brad
