Gary did you get it to the Dyno guy at Don's last year ? Would be nice to see the difference between then and this summer when you get it done. Brad -
I noticed it being slow in the evenings between 9-11. I thought it was 3 people on the internet at the same time. Tonight seems a little quicker than it has been. Brad

Hey Dan I think the bike is trying hard and I think it may be gaining a little. Carl, hook it up to a couple of those pulleys on the ceiling maybe that would help. It went on so it has to come off. I probably would have broken something by now. Brad -
Hey Ponch, Swifty's just upset he went ahead and wore one out. Well beat up the tranny anyway Brad

I just was wondering if he got it off yet ? That bike is almost as stubborn as he is. Brad -
Krispy nice question. Gary, hope you find it as that would be interesting to see. Brad

No ! I was referring to the brown pieces with some black on them, behind the plastic. Brad

Maybe it just does not sit straight because of all that rust on it. Sheesh I thought you were cleaning it before putting it back together Brad

Paying or agreeing to pay up front does seem a little strange to me. I am not sure what the warranty says, but our equipment warranty states that abuse is not covered and if it is found to be abused the customer has to pay. When our equipment has a major failure we send our service techs to the problem to help identify what caused the problem. The rock crusher is repaired as quick as possible and then the service report is used by management to determine if it will be covered. If it was abused we send a bill to the customer. Good luck hope all goes well Brad

Nice job. These numbers seem pretty close, I hit 143 kph measured on the GPS in third gear when I hit the rev limiter. Brad

I think I got most (some) of that. In theory you should be able to calculate what one revelution of the engine means (in each gear) to the tire rotation (or mph). Has this been calculated by anyone ? Brad

I think there are better tires for rain and the tar snakes over the 404's, but I have been using them for years with no troubles and I am not complaining about the wear. Brad

And comfort. Dan maybe you should concentrate on getting them running first. Brad -
Carl careful he may want you to drop it off for him too. Some excuse about being busy with Exams, and getting ready for 2nd semester Brad

Help? Cannot get it apart...
BradT replied to Wizard765's topic in Venture and Venture Royale Tech Talk ('83 - '93)
Just curious, can the whole exhaust from the front of the engine to the back come down as one. Is the rear exhaust stuck to the collector as well ? Just thinking if you can get is away from the bike it will be easier to take apart the pieces. Good luck, I would get frustrated and end up beaking something Brad
