    Khromewerks Sounds

Nice sound. Seem louder than the Bubs but hard to tell. So do you like them or are they too loud for long rides ? It was bored out Harleys that you had before Right ? Brad
  4. Maybe if he stopped trying to fix something that aint broke Brad
  5. I think the 83-93 manuals are the Same one Brad
  6. I never knew this name change, although I have heard of this back up fuse, but never found it. I am glad I never really had a reason too, or I am sure I would be in the same boat as you. Also I have not read the entire manual but have referred to it when needed. I am sure there has been others here that read it regularly. Good luck finding your issue. Brad
  7. Check oil level. Did it come on during hard acceleration ? This would could be normal. If it was not under hard acceleration then I would invetigate a little more. Brad
  8. Looks like it needs a little paint Brad
  9. Sorry I don't have a solution or advice, but I hate when the key is dangling out in mid air like that. I like them up top so I can see it when I want to. I am sure you can make an RSV switch work but some splicing will be needed as I think the plugs are different. Most likely will require a mounting plate of some kind fabricated. Good luck, Brad
  10. Not needed and I missed them anyway. Very nice of you and thanks. Brad
  11. Looks nice. I have a brother in law that does the same thing. His does not look that good but I think his is older. Brad
  12. Yah but he would only be wearing a sweat shirt and his motorcycle gloves and tell you it's not cold all day on the ice Brad
  13. This is just a pacifier until he finds something else to whine about, just like Swifty. Brad
  14. May I ask where did you get the saddle bag rails ? Kreg can't remember where he got his. And where are your Pictures Kreg ??? BRad
  15. It's about time :rotf: Brad
  16. If riding from Arkansas to Southern Ontario cross in Port Huron less traffic than the Detroit area. The Sault is a long way up but nicer roads once you cross. From the Sault heading east into the Muskokas and you will not be disappointed. You can get to the Muskokas from Southern Ontario as well but couple hundred miles of highway. As Wizard said temps are not really that hot but the Humidity can be a bear. Attached is a 500 mile day ride we like to take a couple times a year. Brad
  17. Not trying to defend him but curious if he needs this information to get a credit from his vendor that is if he is trying to get money back for failed ballasts. I agree a lot of work for a 30 dollar part. Not really worth it, or worth the aggravation. Brad
  18. Enjoy your Holidays. It would be nice to get a ride in with you this summer. Brad
  19. Happened to mine the first time I used it. Lights came on then went off when I started the bike. Had a new ballast in a couple days. Buddy do you have any photos of this switch ? and a couple details would be nice. I wonder, could you put a timer in the circiut that would not allow power to the light for 10-30 seconds. Should be enough time to start the bike. Brad
  20. To get things done around house. Before and after pics Brad
  21. I did not notice and I grounded it out on the back of main power unit. Thought I might had to move it but worked ok so I never changed it. Brad
  22. Finally after caving in, you want to be able to see it as well Brad
  23. I always thought they only put the 3.8 in the higher end models. dam the prices are high down there. Bought 03 impala two years ago with 60,000 miles put on 55,000 miles on the 3.4 and paid less than 5,000 CDN. Starting to rust a little but that is normal here with the amount of salt they use. Bikes are cheaper cars are not. BRad
  24. I would go with the buick, but 6,000 seems high to me for a 99 ? or am i reading this wrong ? The 3800 had better gas mileage on the highway but the 3.1 and 3.4 were good motors if you don't get the intake gasket issue. (most do). Brad
  25. Did you use the same stuff we are talking about ? Mine starting slipping as well but I believe it was due to the age and mileage on the clutch and not the oil. Brad
